to women across Canada

The CFUW Charitable Trust was established in 1976

a)To collect, invest and administer the funds for the Fellowship Program which is administered by the Fellowship Committee.

b)To encourage advancement of education for women at all levels.

c) To allow donors to receive charitable receipts.

CFUW CHARITABLE TRUST SUPPORTS:

Created or evolved from early awards beginning in 1921

Supported by the friends and members of CFUW through donations and fund raising

Administered Awards

These awards are sponsored by others who pay the CFUW an administration fee for this service.

A new program allows CFUW Clubs across Canada to nominate groups or organizations for these awards

The CFUW National Program also includes two additional awards:

$4000 offered in alternating years

CFUW MEMBERS ACROSS CANADA CAN HELP CELEBRATE OUR 100TH ANNIVERSARY IN 2019!

In recognition of CFUW’s core belief in education for women, we plan to: • Build a one-time fund of an additional

$100,000 in scholarship money to be awarded in 2019

• These funds may be created as local awards to members of your community or may be donated to the CFUW Chariable Trust increase the number of Fellowships.

All Anniversary Scholarships, whether a new local award within the community or an award supported by the CFUW Fellowship Program, will include the title “CFUW 100th Anniversary”
