Capítulo 6: Recursos de repaso(Resources for Review)
Some of these slides were created to be used in class; some to be used at home for the chapter test review. All the slides will be helpful as you solidify in your brain what you’ve been learning.
Slides that are marked: “La Pizarra” contain materials we used in class. Sometimes, I simply typed into the slides sentences that YOU generated in class.
Let me know which slides were the most helpful to you as you learn as study…
¡Estudien mucho! ¡Buena suerte!
¡Fíjense! (Take note…): For best retention of information you want to learn, study between 7pm and 11pm. Then, sleep eight hours… This will best enable the transfer of information from your short- to long-term memory. REST WELL!
![Page 12: Ch 6 Slides](https://reader034.vdocument.in/reader034/viewer/2022052217/5593df8f1a28abe90b8b46b3/html5/thumbnails/12.jpg)
Consejos sobre las evaluaciones orales:(Advice on the oral evaluations:)
• There are three situations – on the next three slides in this
presentation – that you must practice with your classmates. You
will speak in groups without notes. I will chose one or two
situations at random on the day of the evaluation. It will feel
very informal to you.
• If you have learned the vocabulary and practiced using the
grammar, you’ll do very well. As for all the “evaluaciones” you
have done in the past, practice getting the words out of your
mouth without hesitating. This is more important than trying
not to make mistakes…!)
![Page 13: Ch 6 Slides](https://reader034.vdocument.in/reader034/viewer/2022052217/5593df8f1a28abe90b8b46b3/html5/thumbnails/13.jpg)
How I’ll evaluate your oral performance…(I’ll use the same criteria as always…)

Tienen que decidir quién va a traer qué…(who is going to bring what…)
• Utiliza– Los mandatos formales (singular y plural;
![Page 15: Ch 6 Slides](https://reader034.vdocument.in/reader034/viewer/2022052217/5593df8f1a28abe90b8b46b3/html5/thumbnails/15.jpg)
Situaciones II
Use the map on the next slide to practice…Note that I have left out where stores, restaurants, etc., are on the map. Make up locations for them. Just make sure you can give at least three commands
(mandatos) and then say where the store or restaurant is, as in above: “Un restaurante queda en la esquina...” See the book for other prepositions of place you can use, as in: “El hospital está en frente de
la biblioteca...” Use as many prepositions as you can think of, as in: “al lado de,” “detrás de,” etc...
