Vivekanand Education Society's Institute of Management Studies and Research

(VESIMSR) proudly presents CHAITANYA'11 an Intercollege Management Event.

Events are known to be signature of every college. This event brings out the creativity

skills and leadership qualities of students of VESIMSR.

This Management Event is organized every year Since 1996. Every year CHAITANYA has

shown tremendous growth in number of Colleges participating and making this event a

grand management Festival.

This Year the expected colleges to participate in this event is 90-100 as compared to 72

in the previous Year. The Total number of participants expected is between 1800-2100.VESIMSR organizes Finance Events, Management Events, Sports Events under this Fest.

These events help students of various colleges to sharpen their managerial skills. And

this time we are also letting undergraduates to participate in this auspicious event so

that they can nurture their talent and are also exposed to What Management is all

about ?.

Late Shri Hashu Advani, an intellectual educationist who believed in inculcating high moralvalues in the younger generation, established Vivekanand Education Society (VES) in 1964.

With 22 well-established institutions in its fold, it provides a gamut of academic programs

from pre-primary to the professional level.

With a mission to provide excellence in professional management education, Institute of

Management Studies and Research was established in 1994. Approved by AICTE, it offers atwo-year full-time postgraduate course leading to the MMS (Master of Management Studies)

degree of the University of Mumbai. And VESIMSR also started PGDM and Executive MBA

from current academic year

The Institute provides an environment where faculties constantly engage themselves in

creating innovative teaching methodologies, involving the students in real life work

environment and encouraging them to develop their potential to face the business

challenges lying ahead.

The Institute is also contemplating starting part-time diploma courses in the evening for

working executives and short period certificate courses for executives in SSIs, Foreign

Exchange Risk Management and Treasury Management, Communication and presentation

Skills, Negotiating Skills and Leadership Qualities.
