Spradlin Auction Center & Golden Bridges Business After Hours - Sept. 27

Spradlin Auction Center and Golden Bridges hosted a Business After Hours featuring the artwork of local professor and artist Dr. Larry Calhoun. PASSAVANT COLLEAGUE OF THE MONTH – Connie Radford, OTR/L, Pe-diatric Rehabilitation, was named Passa-vant Colleague of the month. Earlier this year, Radford and her mother donated over 100 weekend hours to paint the Pe-diatric Rehabilitation walls and hallways. She has transformed her department into a cartoon world as she works to help young-sters with motor skills, sensory process-ing and cognitive deficits.

CASA VOLUNTEERS NEEDED. CASA of Morgan and Pike Counties, programs of Advocacy Network for Chil-dren, are recruiting volunteers for upcom-ing training sessions to be held in Jack-sonville. On Tuesday, October 1, Routt Catholic High School invited representatives from the City of Jacksonville, the Jacksonville Chamber of Commerce, the Tracy Family Foundation, and participants in the construction project to join them in celebrating the completion of their newly renovated science labs. Construction began in May 2019 and is the first of it’s kind in the two science labs since the school was built at it’s current location in 1967. The renovations were made possible through memorials, grants, and members of the Routt community who were dedicated to seeing an improved learning space for the science students of Routt Catholic High School. Lincoln Land Animal Clinic, Ltd, co-owned by Colleen S. Koch, DVM, DACVB and Joseph J. Koch, DVM, held an Open House/Ribbon cutting ceremony on October 5 at their new facility located at 1148 Tendick Street. Lincoln Land Animal Clinic Ltd. Is a small and large animal veterinary practice whose goal is to provide high quality medical and surgical care to all of its patients in a caring, compassionate, efficient, friendly and fear free environment. The new facility features separate cat and dog waiting areas and exam rooms, as well as distinct and separate kennel spaces for cats, small dogs, and large dogs. In addition, the facility features a state of the art surgical suite and treatment area.
