PINCHAS ZUKERMAN, violin & ANGELA CHENG, piano Monday, October 10, 2011 at 7:30 p.m.“Zukerman seems to be the forever-young virtuoso: expressively resourceful, infectiously musical, technically impeccable and effortless.” — (The Los Angeles Times)World-renowned violinist, violist, and conductor, Pinchas Zukerman has remained a phenomenon in the world of music for four decades. His musical genius, prodigious technique and unwavering artistic standards are a marvel to audiences and critics. At his side will be the Canadian pianist Angela Chang, whose musical prowess will weave together an evening of pure enchantment.Programme:

WANDERER TRIO, piano, violin and cello Sunday, October 16, 2011 at 7:30 p.m.The Wanderer Trio is aptly named. "Wanderer" pays homage to Schubert, and more widely to German Romanticism, which is so often imbued with the leitmotiv of the wandering traveler. These three French musicians are avid open-minded explorers of the musical world, spanning the centuries from Mozart and Haydn to the present. Acclaimed for its extraordinarily sensitive style, the Wanderer Trio is one of the world's foremost chamber ensembles.
