2017 Chamber Board

The following slate of nominees has been presented for terms on the Chamber’s Board of Directors. Nominated for a three year term beginning in 2017 are Joan Coffman, HSHS St. Joseph’s Hospital, Amy Forcier Pabst, Royal Credit Union, and John Lynn, TTM Technologies.

Rolly Enderes, Chemceed LLC, will be the Chair of the board. Along with Enderes, the following have been elected: Chair-Elect , Neil Mathwig- Citizens State Bank, First Vice-Chair, Ben Lane -Wiley Law S.C. , Treasurer, Jamie Leibrandt- Northwestern Bank and Immediate Past-Chair, Janice Lemminger, Manpower.

Board Members include: Mark Broses- S.E.H., Sue Kern- Mason Companies Inc., have accepted their second three year. Lindsey Everson– Jacob Leinenkugel Brewing Company, Tim Fries - Fries Financial

Group - Raymond James, Tom Hubbard -Cedar Falls Building Systems, Inc., Erin Lorberter- Country Inn &

Suites, and Mike Olson - Micon Cinemas, Inc.

The Chamber would like to thank our outgoing board members: Bill Mercer Premium Waters Inc. and John Manier, General Beer-Northwest

According to the Chamber by-laws, additional nominations may be submitted by at least 10

members in good standing. If no nominations are received, the Board will declare these

nominations official.

Organized by the Chippewa Valley Chamber Alliance, including the Chippewa

Falls, Eau Claire and Menomonie Chambers of Commerce

Help us bring the Chippewa Valley's voice to Madison. This one-day event is jointly sponsored by the Chippewa Falls, Menomonie and Eau Claire Chambers of Commerce. We'll be there to bring our region's important economic, education and infrastructure issues to the attention of state government. You'll participate in pre-scheduled small group meetings with legislators and their aides, an exclusive luncheon with the Governor (invited), meetings with top state officials, an informal closing reception and more. Everything is taken care of, including charter bus transportation to and from Madison (or you can travel on your own if you prefer). Congratulations to Micon Cinemas on the opening of a new VIP Lounge in Chippewa

Falls! Chamber members helped them celebrate at the

December Business After Hours with a ribbon cutting.

Old National Bank celebrated their new name and brand. They are located at 302 Bay Street, previously known as

There is a new restaurant near the lake, Congratulations

to Tim Blieck for opening Wissota Café, serving

breakfast and lunch located at 17255 Co. Hwy. X.

Jason has been a CPA at Wipfli LLP for over 15 years where he works with small to mid-sized businesses and specializes in corporate and individual tax. Jason is originally from Medford, WI, attended college at UWEC, and has lived in the Chippewa Valley ever since. Currently he resides in Chippewa Falls. He is married to his wife Nicole and has two sons, Kaeden (4 years old) and Easton (2 year old) which are keeping him quite busy. In his free time he enjoys spending time with his family, hunting, fishing, and enjoying the outdoors.

Jackie is a Client Relations Leader with Manpower in Chippewa Falls. She has been working with local companies to find top talent since 2005. Jackie grew up in the Chippewa Valley and graduated from UWEC with a degree in Organizational Communications and Women’s Studies. She enjoys spending her free time traveling with her husband Shawn and their beautiful daughters, April, Jenna and Olivia.

School2Skills Tours

The Chamber and the schools have partnered with local businesses and Chippewa Valley Technical College to inspire more than 150 middle school students, parents and educators to learn more about manufacturing, healthcare and STEM careers available in Chippewa Falls, including career paths, salaries and the education required to succeed in today’s manufacturing environment. Through this program, we hope to help meet the employment needs of local employers.

During the past month, 6 local companies opened their doors to the students; HSHS St. Joseph's Hospital, Dove Healthcare - Wissota Health & Regional Vent Center, Short Elliott Hendrickson, Inc., Machine Tool Camp, W.S. Darley and Nordson EDI.
