WELCOME MASTERS WEEK GUEST

CAMERON S. WIEBE

Welcome to Champions Retreat! As you exhale, we hope that you leave your inhibitions at the gate and inhale our springtime air, notice the blossoming landscape and hear the breeze through the Georgia Pines. It is April in Augusta and we are pleased that you have joined us for what will be a memorable 2016 Masters Week. Whether you are a repeat guest, or visiting for the first time, there is much to embrace this week at Champions Retreat. Everything that you could dream or hope for can be facilitated within the gates and our team looks forward to the opportunity to serve you.

Whether you are dining in our cottages at night, in the Barn at Champions Retreat during the day or visiting the Grille House for our Tournament Week menu, I’m confident that you will agree our culinary delights will exceed your expectations. Don’t miss out on trying our signature cocktails at the driving range, in the Bluff Overlook Sport Bar or on the weekend during our Oyster Roast and Pig Pickin. Regardless, there is a great chance to join friends, make new ones and enjoy all that our Club has to offer.

As mentioned, the driving range and putting green will be available throughout the day and into the night with the opportunity to recreate the magical shots you witnessed down the road. There will be Cabanas with bottle service available to ensure you have the drink you desire, music to get you grooving and fun to be had by all.

So it is time to be embraced by the atmosphere, select your winner and prepare to be treated like a Champion.

THREE CHAMPIONS.ONE PRIVATE CLUB.

PALMER NINE ISLAND COURSE

"The Palmer Island Nine is flanked on one side by the broad Savannah River, and the other side by the Little River.

The spectacular hardwoods and pines along the riverbank have been saved and the fairways have been raised to take advantage of the beautiful vistas along the rivers. There is not a better setting for golf in the South."

- Arnold Palmer

NICKLAUS NINE BLUFF COURSE

“This is a nice, rolling piece of property with mature pines throughout. Very little dirt has been moved, which means the course fits nicely with the existing terrain and its surroundings.

This is the kind of site that provides you the opportunity to design a golf course that, on opening day, will appear as if it’s been there for 50 years."

- Jack Nicklaus

PLAYER NINE CREEK COURSE

"The site for the Player Creek Nine at Champions Retreat offers so many opportunities for a wonderful golf course. The opening four holes play a beautiful wetland area, while the remaining holes move upland through native hardwood trees.

The ninth hole dramatically plays over and around a large lake on the right. All level players will finish the nine with a variety of shot making challenges."

- Gary Player
