ABOUT. Chandan Sen, is a scholar graduate in Mass Communication from Amity University, Noida, India and a Post Graduate in Filmmaking, Direction (Gold Medalist) from Whistling Woods International, Mumbai, India and New York Film Academy, New York City, U.S.A. (Distance Learning), a Mumbai-based Indian filmmaker, screenwriter, creative director and graphic designer. As a graphic designer, he had the opportunity to work with prestigious clients such as Pan Macmillan India, International Film Festival of India, Enlighten Film Company (India) and Vani Prakashan. In the last four years of his work in the field, he has actively collaborated with leading filmmakers, film society professionals and students to institute an atmosphere of meaningful and rewarding engagement with cinema in the city. He has also participated as the print designer for a number of significant publications that feature films and contemporary cinema as their topics. He has been involved in a similar capacity with a number of festival catalogues as well. Since May 2013, he became one of the co-founders and publishers of the online film journal, Projectorhead. Occasionally, he handles the operations and film curating activities of Lightcube Film Society, India comprising a group of film enthusiasts. With his ongoing post-graduation, he has served as an assistant to notable filmmakers say Mr. Subhash Ghai who has been his mentor at the Whistling Woods International film institute, Mr. Vipul Amrutlal Shah and others, doing Ad films to feature length projects, and still continues to do so. Who are We THE HYDEVALE COMPANY™ Brainchild and hobbyhorse of Chandan Sen and Anuj Malhotra, THE HYDEVALE COMPANY™ was founded in 2013, with a vision to make contemporary cinema. Having our bases in Mumbai, India (HQ) and Noida, India, we have a vision of integrating Bollywood and our lifetime experiences to create memorable stories. Apart from feature film production, we foray into a range of creative services in the fields of animation, TVCs, music videos, book launch trailers, corporate films and have built a notable clientele. THE HYDEVALE COMPANY™ – FANTÔMAS FANTÔMAS DESIGN is a firm based in New Delhi, India. Founded in December 2010, it has since worked extensively in the fields of communication design, information design, identity design and publication design. Collective experience of close to a decade in the design industry means that the work at Fantômas is based on the possibility of a coherent, singular, beautiful and optimistic vision of the world. For Fantômas, a design on a page is similar to a bridge laid out over a sea : both help people reach out to each other. ABOUT CHANDAN SEN CHANDAN SEN is a Mumbai-based Indian filmmaker, ad filmmaker, screenwriter, creative director and graphic designer. He is a scholar graduate in Mass Communication from Amity University, Noida, India and a Post Graduate in Filmmaking, Direction (Gold Medalist) from Whistling Woods International, Mumbai, India and New York Film Academy, New York City, U.S.A. (Distance Learning). In the last four years of his work in the field of cinema (majorly Bollywood per se), he has actively collaborated with leading filmmakers of the country in various major roles (primarily : Associate Director, Creative Director, Post-Production Supervisor, Storyboard Supervisor) for individuals and companies ranging from Subhash Ghai, Vipul Amrutlal Shah, Madhur Bhandarkar, Prahlad Kakkar and Mukta Arts', Sunshine Pictures Pvt. Ltd., respectively. On the professional front, he has directed a number of short & corporate films / featurettes and advertisements on Digital, Super 16mm and 35mm formats which have been received well commercially as well as at different festival circuits. As a graphic designer, he had the opportunity to work with prestigious clients such as Pan Macmillan India, Mint (business newspaper published by HT Media Ltd.), and many others. ABOUT ANUJ MALHOTRA ANUJ MALHOTRA is a New Delhi-based filmmaker, graphic designer, film critic and a festival programmer. In the last six years of his work in the field, he has actively collaborated with leading filmmakers, critics, film society professionals, cultural institutions and students to institute an atmosphere of rewarding engagement with cinema in the city. He has also participated as the lead art director and print designer for a number of significant publications that feature history of film and contemporary cinema as their topics. His work has been cited in prestigious national and international forums such as mubi.com, Film Studies for Free, Celine and Julie, Transit Cine, Photogenie, Festivalists, Deep Focus Cinema, The Seventh Art, Shadowplay and News Chomper, Australia.
