Recommendations and Implementation Strategy
The Researcherrecommends the following to help reduce violence in the community of Ridge
Hill:
1. The creation of a neighbourhood watch program.
2. The establishment of cottage industries in the community.
3. Provide police in the community.
Implementation StrategyResidents of the community could implement Community watch program . A person or group of people committed to starting a neighborhood watch. This involves meetings to see whose interested in joining .This is a vital meeting in that is where everyone learns what is involved and expected of participants so now here is how you would start a neighborhood watch. First you will have to contact your local police, at the first meeting get as much information as possible as is harder to get the information later, nominate a captain and co-captain, hand out a form for the residents to submit information for the community watch program. Now after all that has been done its up to the residents to keep information up to date and work with their neighbors on community or socials. There are many benefits to a neighborhood watch program. Start the dialogue with your neighbors and see if you can start one in the community .It is a great way to build your community cut down on Violence and rethink what a neighborhood is all about
