Deliver Employability Programmes

1. Development of training plans and schemes of work to ensure compliance with accredited bodies, best practice and quality targets.

2. To design, deliver and share learning schemes of work, session plans and assessment materials, training appropriate colleagues when required..

3. Delivery of tailored personal development and employability skills programmes to enable learners to move closer to sustained employment.

4. Maintain a current knowledge of subject and course developments, best-practice in subject delivery and of the external requirements of funding and accreditation bodies

5. Work with the team of Employment Advisors to meet the learning needs of participants.

6. Lead in delivery and accreditation of learner-focused provision.

7. Evidence the progression and learning of participants on the programme

8. Maintain accurate monitoring and evidence of engagement of participants on the programme.

9. Link learning to opportunities in the local labour market.

10. Monitor and improve course content to ensure effective approaches which will help our clients develop confidence, overcome barriers and achieve successful transitions and progression.

11. Promote our employability offer to Housing staff, partner agencies and local businesses.

12. To actively recruit clients into the employability projects, retain their engagement and encourage them to participate in workshops, job clubs and 1:1’s to raise aspirations, challenge them emotionally enabling them to reach their full potential.

13. Assist in coordinating events to promote our employability offer.

14. Keep detailed records of referrals, advice, actions and outcomes.

15. Provide support and signpost customers to relevant organisations.

16. To deliver training, promote events, carry out visits and meetings out of hours as and when required.

17. Work with the Communications Team to produce publicity relating to employment and training programmes, especially in respect of good news stories.

18. Identify and harness local, regional and national initiatives that deliver new opportunities access employment/training opportunities.

19. Build and maintain strong links and working relationships with relevant statutory and non-statutory organisations.

20. Develop working relationships with other professionals working in the field of employment, welfare, training and the learning and skills sector.

21. Attend and participate in relevant forums and networks.

22. To engage with local business and employers where required, to understand business needs and promote our client base and services

23. Be responsible for maintaining the evidence of learning for participants, that will provide statistical information on performance to contribute to the monitoring and evaluation of the programmes.

24. Maintain detailed electronic case records and administrative systems in line with Data Protection requirements for both internal and external funders.

25. Demonstrate effective caseload management, achievement of targets, objectives and evidence impact through effective and accurate recording, providing regular reports to the Sustainable Communities Coordinator East

26. Produce and update marketing materials in line with internal systems

27. Undertake training and personal development in order to develop skills and maintain knowledge base.
