I eager truly, sincerely and honestly to study in your school for industrial design.

Actually, study abroad is not a difficult thing to do. Except personal effort, economic issue could be a realistic problem for those who want to study abroad. However, I do not think that “money” should be something which blocks in someone’s way to achieve his or her own dream. Thus, I am now doing my best to get any chance, any source that could help me to complete the goal and dream I am pursuing. The opportunity to apply for exchange student to your school is the best I have got right now, and also the one suits me the best. I will do my best to try to get the permission to study there.

I believe that, it is easy to take everything around you for granted when you stay at the same surrounding for a long term which I consider this kind of dullness to be the fatal short comings

for someone who design. Lucky enough, I had some chance to travel to some part of the world. Also, I got the chance to live in native Taiwanese’s (aboriginal people in Taiwan) village. This kind of cultural impact on me is the most efficient way me to grow and to know the world better. By experience different culture of lives, I can understand and face the difference between cultures, or simply face the gap between people. What I want to do is to fill the gap by my design. By facing the difference between people, I can look back on myself to know who I am and what the value of my life is.

I have strong passion toward furniture design among all industrial design. I think the reason is because my constellation is Cancer. As everyone says, Cancer person have strong feeling to home and care about their family. I am not an exception. I have some unique feeling to all kind of furniture and appliances. Cologne Furniture Exposition has been one of my focuses in my life

English, meanwhile, I will try to discuss with my instructor about my design idea in English in order to practice the usage of design-related words. On the other hand, I have already asked my German friend to give me one on one German class during weekend. I will join Germen summer class in advance. I want to be able to speak some basic daily German before I go there.

I will focus on furniture, public space and teamwork program. I also want to focus on the courses which we do not have in Taiwan. Moreover, at the same time I study my major design subject, I would like to experience different culture. On the other hand, I would like to know how Taiwan is presented to German country. Personal study may be very important, the international cultural reaction is also very important.

since I decided to study design. In the past, I can only shoot a glance by the internet or magazines. It would be so meaningful to me if I could participate in person one day.

Even though, I did not rank on the top of the list among all my classmates, I believe I am a person with creativity and leadership. Half of the students in my department voted for me as the president of students association of Industrial Design Department. I am now on behalf of my classmates to organize events and also negotiate with the school authority. I believe there will be some beautiful sparkles between our departments if I get the chance to exchange to your school.

My English is not bad. However, by getting alone with foreign friends, I realized my short coming is that I am not fast enough to understand clearly by listening. And, I do not have enough vocabulary for design yet. I plan to read 2-3 designer magazines per month in

She can no longer see things since she got blind.

Everything in her life doesn’t have shapes or colors anymore. But, she found the smells, sounds, touches she neglected before gradually.

The lack of sight made other senses stronger.Without vision, she finds more with heart.

CubeA Blind Story

The cube used white as basic color due to the spindle of story-“without vision, stronger smells, sounds and touches.”

It was designed as a person, the exterior vacuumed EVA is to imitate the enlarged skin texture and the internal landform is a conversion from human faces, the user can only experience by hand touch.

Boxing is perhaps the most physically challenging sport.

Make two drivers become boxers, and boxing each other by hitting the gloves. It is the way to drive axle in rotation, thereby enabling the mobile device to move forward.

Soft HardnessWhat we see and what we feel are not always the same.

We can't judge the value of things only by the surface.

What really important is the feeling in your mind.

Mix the silicone with black and gray color paste, and make the cement texture from sand paper.

The rusty steel bars of different thicknesssupport the chair and enhance the image of

the hardness.

Lights can provide illumination, and pillows can be holded. Both items can be used independently but also more valued when used in a combination.

Light provide pillow heat while the pillow is a lampshade. With light, shadow and the heat we neglected generally,energy resoureces can be used in a more efficient way.

When measuring our weights, we have to stand on the scale barefooted. It is the same way how we stand on earth.

Vision deceives people. Thought intuitively, the things must not be heavy if even the ants can lift it up.

Use single point to support a candy display with numerous ants, and create a dangerous sense of balance.

The ants were made from the ant folders and wire to imitate real ants. Arranged ant marching routes are merged into surroundings with a transparent bottom.

The relationship between people and things were never simple. Something old might disappeared or something new might be produced while combining.

Change the usual combination of bookshelves in the past, and divid the original space in a new way. Create a different uses and new value of the bookshelves.

When traveling outdoor, clothes need hand-washing sometimes. But wiring is ineffective and also doing harms to clothes.

With the principle of centrifugal force, use the sink or bathtub as the outer layer to collect water. Stick the suction cups to environment materials such as tiles, metal, glass and so on to have an operating plane.

In 1958, a ship had discovered important prehistoric information under the sea, which can rewrite our understanding of marine species. We found out surprisingly that marine species also has their own culture, including fairy tales.

With modern technology, we rebuild one of the fairy tales according to the pictures and viedos.

Tao Tai LangStory of Oceanic Peach Tarou

The “Tao-Tai-Lang” was varied from frog and Ukiyo-e, and his follower was varied from oyster.

Left/“Tao-Tai-Lang” used it’s left leg to kick Devil’s

head directly and heavily.The Devil seems to be seriously injured.

It lost it’s balance and can hardly keep fighting.

Right/At last, “Tao-Tai-Lang” finally won the battle,

and carrying it’s bag swam to the treasures.

Who Murderedthe Toaster?

a Mechanical Separting Story

Record and present the process of toaster dismantling with a suspense noble way.

One day home, I found that my beloved toaster dripping on the floor and drowned horribly. Moreover, it has been taken a bunch of bathing naked photos.

Who is the hateful murderer? My roommate? The plumber came to fix the lamp this afternoon? Or the neighborhood child?

IPacFuture Concept Car

I-Pac is a car suitable for next 20 years. It can be drove as a five-seat vehicle or a smaller one, and can be combined or separated depends on passenger numbers or traffic.

In this way, we can improve the quality of our life while reducing unnecessary energy waste.
