Amigos Days Do you have the heart of a missioner but no mission project? Can't go to Jamaica, haven't been offered a shorter more convenient way to be the hands of God? Prayer Garden

Donate Vases for Flowers We are still collecting your unused vases to donate to our florist

in exchange for new silk flower arrangements. Place them on

the shelf in the donation nook across from the parlor.

Worship Committee

Thank you in advance for honoring and/or remembering loved

ones by your Easter flowers contribution. If you have no plans

for your flower(s), Trustees would be happy to plant them in our

flower bed at the parking lot entrance. This is an opportunity to

beautify our grounds and remember all the good times with

these you honored. Bless you!

BIRTHDAY REMINDER: Please let our church office know your birthdate, mm/dd/yyyy, so your church family can acknowledge your

special day. Your ‘year’ will remain private: [email protected]

Thank You All! Thank you to all the volunteers, the United Methodist Men who

cooked the meal, Family Life who helped to serve us all, our

favorite Easter Bunny, Kelly Patterson, and all the member who

supported the Eggstravaganza in any way. It was a huge success

with 300 people attending and participating in the wonderful event.

Thank you for helping us to make it happen.

Message Experience We will not be having our Message Experience this

Sunday because we want the children to experience church in the

service with their families. There will be activity sacks available

for them.

Children’s Choir There will not be Children's Choir this Sunday because it is Easter.

Have a wonderful afternoon with your families.

Save the Date

What – UMW Spring Luncheon

Where – Chapel hill Fellowship Hall

When – Sat., May 6th, 2017 at 11:00 AM

Tickets for this delightful program will go on sale right after

East and the cost is $10.00each. We are excited about Susan

Boone’s presentation of “The Mockingbird Next Door, Life with

Harper Lee by Mar Mills.” As you may remember, Harper Lee

wrote the best seller many years ago entitled, To Kill a

Mockingbird which was made into a movie starring Gregory

Peck. For many years, she was inactive in the literary world

and surfaced with another best seller, but shortly after its

publication, she died.

You are asked to bring a salad (or two) that will feed eight

people. The theme is birdcages and spring flowers. (This is

with a mockingbird; aren’t we clever!)

For these who agreed to do a table, round up your friends, fill

up your tables with the special gals in your life, and let’s have

a day!

Happy Easter!

We have been blessed to have a

beautiful and serene place to be with

God in prayer. It is a peaceful setting

for our church members as well as

the community but it lacks one thing.

A new fountain. The original one has

crack and is not repairable. Is there

an angel among us who would

consider going the second mile in

their giving to get us a new fountain

for this peaceful place to go to God

in prayer? If so, call Nancy Hartman

(972-247-3629) or Charlie Wood

(972-247-0908). Thanks be to God!

Family Fun Night

Project Transformation’s Family Fun Night will be held on April

27th at 6pm. Mark it down on your calendar and be ready to

participate with fun, food, and plenty of laughs with the amazing

children who attend this ministry and their families. Come

Thursday April 27th and have a blast!
