Carbon Dioxide: Pollutant?
• At a high enough concentration, any chemical can be considered a pollutant
• We are increasing the concentration of CO2 in our atmosphere
• The troposphere is warming and there is evidence that the additional CO2 is contributing to the warming.

Sulfur Oxides
• What do sulfur oxides become once they are released into the atmosphere?
• What effects can it have on the environment?• What do you think is the trend for this
polluted has been over the last 20 years?
