Summary of Findings

As we get our output result that is shown in winspice program,

Conclusions

Double pass-transistor logic or simply DPL has been developed to improve circuit performance with less supply voltage. Its characteristic is so good that the speed of the PMOS and NMOS is compensated. It means that the DPL was developed for the speed and to reduce the time of operation it takes to make an output. So, in other words, DPL results to a very high speed performance in processing units. The DPL is a complex for us to make as we can see the schematic diagram of the circuit, in one logic gate, there can be two outputs. When making it in pull-up and pull-down network, it has eight transistors that has only two inputs. The two inputs become eight because of combined of the inverted input to make an eight input combination connected in each other and that is only one gate. DPL becomes complex because of the construct of the transistors inside it and with the two outputs.RecommendationsWe are using the electric 6.03 of VLSI, the user must know how to use this kind of program and must be really familiarized so that it wont waste time to make a complex circuit because this project uses some uncommon components that is not commonly used in basic logic gate and combination to make a schematic diagram of it. So that, we recommend that you must know all the components in electric 6.03 even the uncommonly use components.
