CHAPTER IV
CONCLUSIONS AND SUGESTIONS
A. Conclusion
Based on the discussion in the previous chapter, the writer draws conclusion as
follows:
1. The translation process of official documents.
The translation process of legal document requires four stages of the translation
process, and these four stages of the processes are:
a. Comprehend the source text regarding grammar, diction and the meaning of
text.
b. Rearrange the structure or diction and add words to make the complete
sentences.
c. Translate the sentences of source text into a target language.
d. Do translation revision that can take three or four time revision, to make the
text is translated appropriately.
From those points, the writer was able to translate thirteen legal documents, in
addition to make the text is easier to be learned and accepted by the reader, the writer
would wish to make a suggestion about adding or reducing words in translation to
make the text can be translated in good manner and accepted by the reader.

B. Suggestion
Here are the writer’s suggestions:
1. The Institution
The writer expects that the UPT-P2B as an Institution which provides translation
service in Surakarta, would give the same opportunity to other students who are
interested in translation. The institution needs to expand the space for translation,
so that the student would be able to study further about translation.
2. For the English Diploma Department.
The time in class for translation studies has to beincreased due to the lack of time
that the writer felt during his time in the Diploma program, because there was
none of a single class that taughthow to translate legal documents, such as
abstract, statement of marital, death certificate and certificate of appreciation, that
documents were mostly documents translated. By having more time studies of
translation in class, the writer believed that the students who are interested in
translation would be able to face the completion in the information era.
