    CHAPTER IV

    RESULTS AND DISCUSSION

    PROJECT DESCRIPTION

Developers created Computer-Aided Instruction (CAI) to help teachers for their teaching

strategy and also help students to understand the lessons repeatedly. This system can help

students to analyze their lessons freely, they can study the lesson at their on pace. The

developers created CAI that can easily !e used for the students ho are not familiar in using a

    computer.

The development team proposed this system to Ca!iao "ational #igh $chool !ecause the

team %ne that there are many students ho are illing to understand their lessons and create a

pro&ect li%e this in the near future.

'esearchers firstly gathered all the information hich have made them see hat can !e

possi!ly done to improve the systems functionality and learning ho the manual processes can

!e done for it to !e automated.

$hoing more pro!lems on the ay of development some pro!lems ere to !e ignored

    such as

*ecturing through the !oard hich consumes too much time and space on hich the

teacher should !e riting hile the students are still lecturing on the !oard.

+anually recording the grades of students !y collecting their test papers and rite all

their grades one !y one or even calling them individually their names to shout their grades

  • 7/25/2019 CHAPTER IV n V

    2/19

hile the instructor records it, !ut the last procedure of recording grades are not that accurate

!ecause some students lie for higher grades.

"ot updated grade sheets and lost test papers that are not recorded yet ma%ing it

impossi!le to trac% don hat the students and the instructors did in their class.

"ot !eing notified hich eercises have the students have not yet ta%en for them to

complete their grades !efore the final grading happens.

+a%ing the pro!lems safely done !y a computer the researchers then studied some

systems ali%e hich has pro!lems on their on that made the CAI safer than the other

    system.

The developers then created the system a CAI in particular hich is more advanced

ith some fail safe augmentation for a much relia!le and ro!ust learning delivery.
