Jim Orrock holds a B.S. in Aerospace Engineering and an M.S. in Mechanics, both from the University of Minnesota. He has worked in various R&D roles, primarily on industrial control and equipment applications for nearly 30 years, with about half that time at Honeywell where, as a young engineer he was immersed deeply in the systems engineering discipline.

Jim joined Stratasys in 2008 as the Systems Engineering Manager. Prior to joining Stratasys Jim held engineering leadership positions with various semiconductor equipment manufacturers, most recently as Director of Systems Engineering for Soligie, a printed electronics additive manufacturing company.

Jim moved into the position of Director, Materials Development at Stratasys in late 2011 and still works closely with the Systems Engineering team at Stratasys.
