Mere Marg Par Per rakhkar toh dekh,

Try and come in MY direction/ in MY fold and see

Tere sabh marg na khol doon toh kehna.

If I don’t open up various opportunities in different directions for you, then you tell ME

Tu mere liye karch karke to dekh,

Try and spend some amount for ME and see

Kuber ke bhandar na khol doon toh kehna.

If I don’t grant you (open for you) the world’s bhandar (treasury/ granary), then you tell ME

Mere liye kadve vachan sunkar toh dekh

Try and listen (bear) to stinging/harsh words for ME and see

Kripa na barse toh kehna.

If MY benevolence doesn’t rain on you, then you tell ME

Meri taraf aake toh dekh,

Try and come in MY direction/ towards ME and see

Tera dhyana na rakhu toh kehna.

If I don’t take care of you, then you tell ME

Meri baat loghon se karke toh dekh

Try and speak about ME and MY teachings to others and see

Tujhe mulyavan na bana doon toh kehna.

If I don’t make you precious/worthy, then you tell ME

Mere charitro ka manan karke toh dekh

Try and read (with devotion) MY Life history (Shri Sai Satcharitra) and see

Gyaan ke mothi tujme na bhar doon toh kehna

If I don’t fill you with gems of knowledge, then you tell ME

Mujey apna madadgaar bana ke toh dekh,

Try and make ME the ONE to whom you would approach for help and see

Tujey sabki ghulami se na chuda doon toh kehna.

If I don’t free you from others’ slavery/bonds, then you tell ME

Mere liye aansun bahakar toh dekh,

Try and shed some tears for ME and see

Tujey sabki ghulami se na chuda doon toh kehna.

If I don’t free you from others’ slavery/bonds, then you tell ME

Mere liye kuch banke toh dekh,

Try and become something (worthy) for ME and see

Tuje keemti na bana doon toh kehna.

If I don’t make you precious, then you tell ME

Mere marg par nikal ke toh dekh

Try and set out on MY path and see

Tujhe mashoor na kara doon toh kehna.

If I don’t make you famous, then you tell ME

Mera kirtan karke toh dekh,

Try and do MY bhajans/kirtans (devotional songs praising the Lord) and see

Jagat ka vismaran na kara doon toh kehna.

If I don’t make you forget the world, then you tell ME

Tu mera banke toh dekh,

Try and become MINE and see

Har ek ko tera na bana doon toh kehna.

If I don’t make everybody yours, then you tell ME

Chapter-2

Tu mujhey mandir, masjid aur gurudware mein yaad karke toh dekh,

Try and remembering ME in the Mandir, Masjid and Gurudwara and see

Tujey har jagah pe mera Darshan na kara doon toh kehna.

If I don’t give you MY Darshan everywhere, then you can tell ME

Tu mujey har ghadi yaad karke toh dekh,

Try and remember ME every second/ moment and see

Tera har ghadhi rakshak na banu toh kehna.

If I don’t become your protector protecting you every moment/second, then you tell ME

Tu mere liye kasht uthake toh dekh,

Try and undergo some difficulties for ME and see

Tere jivan mein aane wale har kasht ko dur na kardu toh kehna.

If I don’t remove each and every of your forthcoming difficulties, then you tell ME

Tu mere dhaam pe nange pair (legs) chalke toh dekh,

Try and walking on bare legs in my Mandir/ religious site (dham) and see

Tere pairon se huey har paap ko nasht na kardu toh kehna.

If I don’t remove each and every sin which your legs have committed, then you tell ME

Tu mujey tere haath ka banaya hua Prasad khilake toh dekh,

Try and feed ME with food/Prasad which you have cooked (prepared) it yourself and see

Tere ghar per ann (food) ka bhandar na bhar doon toh kehna.

If I don’t make your house a granary of rice/food, then you tell ME

Tu mera granth pavitratha se padke toh dekh,

Try and read my books with sincerity and purity (respect) and see

Tujhey vijayi na kar doon toh kehna.

If I don’t make you the Undefeatable, then you tell ME

Tu mere bhakt mein mera Darshan karke toh dekh,

Try and visualize Me in My devotee and see

Tujhey tejaswi na bana doon toh kehna.

If I don’t make you a person having self-respect, then you tell ME

Tu mere naam ka ek mala japke toh dekh,

Try and recite MY name, the number of times in a japamala (rosary) and see

Tujhey santhon ka Darshan na kara doon toh kehna.

If I don’t get you the Darshan of Saints, then you tell ME

Tu mere me mann laga ke toh dekh,

Try and concentrate on ME/ turn your mind towards ME and see

Tujhey manmohak na bana doon tooh kehna.

If I don’t make you dear to the Heart, then you tell ME

Tu mujhey Om Sai Ram, Om Sai Ram pukarke toh dekh,

Try and call ME by OM Sai Ram, Om Sai Ram and see

Tere mann mandir mein teri pukar suntan hi rahuga.

If I don’t keep on listening to your call in your temple of the mind, then you tell ME

Tu mere liye maun rakhkar toh dekh,

Try and maintain a vow of silence for ME and see

Tere mann ko shant na kardoon toh kehna.

If I don’t pacify your (restless) mind, then you tell ME

Tu mere samne baithke toh dekh,

Try and sit before ME and see

Har pal tere samne na rahoon toh kehna.

If I am not in front of you all the time, then you tell ME

Tune meri prerana ko tere tann mann dhan se swikar karke likhi,

Try and accept MY inspiration through your body, mind and wealth and see

Meri prerna likhne wale shantilal, Tera jeevan dhanya dhanya na kardu toh kehna.

Shantilal, the writer of MY Prerana (inspiration), if I don’t make your life sacred, then you tell ME

Chapter-3

Tu mere paas aakar toh dekh,

Try and come near ME and see

Tere sarv dukh dur na kardu toh kehna.

If I don’t remove all your miseries, then you tell ME

Tu mere dhaam mein rehkar toh dekh,

Try and stay in MY dham and see

Tere ghar ko theerth na kar doon toh kehna.

If I don’t make your house a Teerthsthal (a place worthy of pilgrimage), then you tell ME

Tu mera Prasad grahan karke toh dekh,

Try and apply (on the forehead) MY Prasad and see

Tere vichaar pavitra na kar doon toh kehna.

If I don’t make your speech sacred, then you tell ME

Tu meri upasna karke toh dekh,

Try and sit near ME and contemplate ME and see

Tujhe karMYogi na bana doon toh kehna.

If I don’t make you a KarmaYogi, then you tell ME

Tu meri aarti gaakar toh dekh,

Try and sing MY Arti and see

Teri zubaan par Saraswati virajmaan na kar doon toh kehna.

If I don’t make your speech a seat for Sarawati, then you tell ME

Tu mere kadam pe chalkar toh dekh,

Try and walk in MY footsteps and see

Main tere aage na chalu toh kehna.

If I don’t walk before you, then you tell ME

Tu mere naam se dukhiyo ki seva karke toh dekh,

Try and do service to the wretched with MY name on your lips and see

Tere mann mein sukh shanti na bhardoon toh kehna.

If I don’t fill up your mind with happiness and peace, then you tell ME

Tu muje apne ghar mein bitha ke toh dekh,

Try and keep ME seated (installed) in your house and see

Tera ghar swarg na banadu toh kehna.

If I don’t make your house Heaven, then you tell ME

Tu meri vibhuti ka tilak karke toh dekh,

Try and apply MY vibhuti in the form of a tilak (on your forehead) and see

Tera mukaarvindh divya na kardu toh kehna.

If I don’t make the lotus of your mouth sacred, then you tell ME

Tu mere pe phoolon ki varsha karke toh dekh,

Try and shower ME with a rain of flowers and see

Tere upar suvicharo ki varsha na kardu toh kehna.

If I don’t shower you with good opinions, then you tell ME

Tu mujhey charan sparsh karke toh dekh,

Try and touch MY feet and see

Tujey har kisi ka priya na banadu toh kehna.

If I don’t make you the beloved of everyone, then you tell ME

Tu mera charan sparsh karke toh dekh,

Try and touch MY feet and see

Tere angh angh mein na samau toh kehna.

If I don’t reside in each and every atom of your body, then you tell ME

Tu mujhey chandan ka tilak karke toh dekh,

Try and apply sandal paste in the form of a tilak to ME and see

Main tere bhagya ko uday na kardu toh kehna.

If I don’t light up your future/fate/destiny, then you tell ME
