Advocacy
• Students are assigned to a teacher in small group setting based on gender and grade level
• Students meet each day with the CARES teacher
AdvocacyEach advocate teacher will assist students in the following areas:
– Weekly character education– Parental contact– Act as a “school parent” to support and
motivate– Quarterly Academic Achievement Plans– Ongoing academic review (progress report and
report card review)
