EVALUATION PART 2

Character comparisonThis is Emma Roberts as Poppy Moore in the film ‘Wild child’

This is Gemma Moyle as Ashley Pritchard in the film ‘Loose Ends’.

This is Caitlin Thompson as Casey Benson in the film ‘Walking the

Streets’

Poppy & AshleyWe chose Poppy Moore from the film Wild child because the idea of her trying to change her life to be a better person links to our film.At the start of the film wild child Poppy is seen partying with her friends, when her dad comes home and tells her off. This is similar to our idea because neither of the girls care about themselves or anyone else and just want to party and have fun. In these picture both girls are in short party dresses, but Ashley is alone and Poppy is having an argument with her dad. This reflects the storylines in both films, while Ashley changes because of her circumstances Poppy changes because of the people around her.We used the body language acted by EmmaRoberts in this film for Gemma to act out.

Casey & Ashley We chose Casey Benson from the film ‘Walking The Halls’ as a good representation of what Ashley should look like. In the Film Casey walks away from someone and takes her heels off. We used this and Gemma mimicked the movements. We use the clothes that Casey was wearing in this scene as inspiration- a tight purple dress and plain black heels. Both of the girls hold the shoes the same way and walk looking forward. The lighting in Casey’s shot is brighter the ours which does looks better. The main difference is Casey has blonde hair and Ashley has brown hair. To achieve the steriotypical party girl persona we wanted Ashley to have.
