MonkeysThe denim jacket and jeans are very retro but very iconic.

Being the front man, I have to have presence and confidence without coming across as arrogant. The retro, rock n’ roll look that I have gone for portrays this. The slick back hair with the upturned collar relays the confidence whereas the plain t-shirt and jeans shows that I am casual and down to earth.

The leather jacket continues the 1950’s Rock n’ Roll look.

I am going to be part of the music video as one of the characters. The song isn’t about me but about an old friend of the bands. For this reason I am not the main character.

Me and Mason decided to just use the members of the band as the characters in the video. By not using actors, the video will be more personal.

Band member ♯1As we are not having a main character in the video, at the last minute, me and Mason thought about having each of the band members wearing the “V for Vendetta” mask at different points in the video.

This was a last minute decision, but every time the mask is shown, it represents the person the song is about. It also adds mystery and suspense to the music video.

Joey is very good at looking casual and relaxed in any walk of life. He is always presentable but without dressing up to any extent. Standing at 6ft 2”, he has a commanding presence therefore gets away with wearing slim jeans and a polo shirt.

A lot of people who like indie music are traditionally shown in polo shirts that are quite modest.

Joey mixes styles up in his dress sense. A lot of what he wears is very grunge (the chequered shirt for example), but still has the slim jeans, converse and t-shirt thus conforming to the indie genre.

It carries a relaxed and down to earth, hard working attitude but is still very presentable. The fact that grunge appears in Joey’s clothes shows a deeper dimension to our band.

James has a very similar dress sense to me. He wears a leather jacket, slim jeans, black boots and polo shirt and t-shirts. A lot of what we wear is due to the music we listen to.
