The character Danni is played by Beth Aldred, in the pictures above you can really tell we worked on costumes as the left picture is how Beth would normally dress, compared with how she needed to be represented in the opening of our film.

Danni is Tay’s best friend. She is struggling with an abusive relationship, we tried to represent this through the bruise on her arm but still not make it too clear what was going on as it is only an opening.In the opening of WALK you see that she has committed suicide, this creates narrative enigma.

The character Tay is played by Tiff Bourne, in the pictures above you can really tell we worked on costumes as the left picture is how Tiff would normally dress, compared with how she needed to be represented in the opening of our film.

In the opening Tay is perceived as an aggressive yet comical character, we did this so the audience could relate to our main character instantly.The opening is about Tay’s journey back to her and her friends flat to find a shocking discovery. Although the phone call, and her walking into and being aggressive to a passer by gives you an insight to the type of personality she has.

The passer by is played by Dan. He is only a minor character and would only appear in the opening, but he helps show Tay’s aggressive nature. His short line of “Alright calm down” shows he is an innocent character, who did not provoke her to react like that in anyway. This really help portray Tay’s persona.
