“GODFATHER” FIGURE• a criminal mastermind who has worked in the business for years and yet has still remained anonymous and avoided the police.

• he has accumulated a reasonable sum of money from the criminal business over the years.

• his business is now so large that he hasn’t had to do any work for years and he has strings of employees who do all his dirty work.

• he is confident.• he is mysterious.• and he has a sense of power and control just by looking at him.

• cold - no emotional attachment to anyone.

THE GIRL / VICTIM• vulnerable.• innocent.• a paranoid type of person.• loses control of herself when she is afraid.• she is connected to the man who runs the small criminal corporation.

• she knew nothing about the deal or that anything had gone wrong but was killed anyway by choice of the cold “godfather” figure.

THE KILLER• one of the many men who works for the “godfather” figure.

• has no other job within the business other than doing any dirty work (such as murders or attacks) that are ordered to be done.

• cold-hearted and no emotional attachment to his victim.

• disturbed at heart.• knows what he’s doing when it comes to murder and then covering his tracks.

1ST MAN IN STREET• less confident.• fiddling with lighter shows his slight nervousness to be a dealing with men like the “godfather” figure.

• used to being in control so feels intimidated by bigger forces such as the “godfather” figure.

• tries to have a more confident and powerful appearance than is actually true.

YOUNG BOY/MESSENGER• young boy who is paid per job very cheaply (a few shillings) to be the messenger.

• he is scruffy.• his parents either don’t exist or don’t care for him.• he is naive and far less cautious that the others.
