Charles F. Dolan School of BusinessMaster of Science in Accounting
Program Overview The Master of Science in Accounting (MSA) program is a full-time cohort program beginning each May that is designed to be completed in just one year. The program provides advanced knowledge in the field of accounting, so individuals can succeed in an environment that increasingly requires grounding in ethical, legal, and regulatory matters, as well as knowledge of technology’s role in accounting, financial reporting, auditing, and tax. The MSA also addresses the educational requirements of most states for Certified Public Accountant (CPA) certification. Due to the limited number of spaces available each year and the competitiveness of the application pool, candidates are advised to apply early.
