The Way Things Work

CommunicationTerm 1 we focused on communication. I worked on a big I pod with Tiana and Declan it was green with an I pod screen Tiana had to say 2 parts I had to read 2 parts and Declan had to read the rest. It looked really cool and it had lots of information and there was mini I pods in the corners. I made the mini I pods in the corners.

Are We There Yet?We learnt about

Australia we had to do a project on it I worked with Emily. l and Emily. W. We did a play and it

was really good.

The Way Things WorkIn term 2 we focused on simple machines and

I learnt all the different types of simple machines like gears, pulleys, levers, wheel

and axle, inclined plane, wedges and screw. There are 7 simple machines. Lot’s of things use simple machines like hammer, spoon, fork, knife and a jar lid and lot’s more

Holly wood Magic

In holly wood magic we did news reports and

ads on a green screen.

Learning By DoingIn term 2 we did learning by doing. We all

made a crane that could pick up light stuff like tissues, pencils and chopsticks. We needed wood, a saw, a pencil, 2 sticks, paper clips, glue and string. After we did it he said all of

them were very good and gave us a sticker!

Camp KangaroobieCamp was so fun and we did an obstacle course and we were so

muddy and wet at the end. We did lots of fun things happened I loved the people in my cabin and camp

was great.
