Grief is an emotion we often forget can have a physical impact on our bodies

and because of this it is important that at some point after a major loss you

address your health.

Even a small walk every day while in the midst of grief can do a lot to clear

out our ethereal body.

Our ethereal body is basically the spiritual energy source attached to us at all

times and in times of grief the emotional depths can actually affect us on a

physical level.

After deep grief you will find you are more susceptible to flus and colds, espe-

cially in the following two years, and it is simply because we have allowed our

emotions to run us down.

After a period of time it is advised to get moving again in any way you can.

About 6 months after my daughter died I found myself in a gym to use the

Page 2: Charmaine Wilson · 2015. 3. 22. · breathing in and breathing out will help expel the negative energy ... If you wish to raise your vibrations you need to meditate, exercise and

tanning beds but after a while found myself on the aerobics floor. At

the end of that first class, exhausted, I felt something shift. The grief

had literally dropped from my body for the duration of the class and

as I left the room I left the grief there.

Of course it did not cure me that first time but it felt so good that I

went back again and again. So much in fact I decided to become an

aerobics instructor. Focusing my energy on that, instead of the pain

of losing my daughter, went a long way in helping me move effec-

tively through the grieving process.

I eventually discovered bodybuilding. For the first time in many

years, both before my daughter died and after, I actually liked the

person I had become.

I was positive and healthy and, without me knowing, had become a

role model for many who attended the classes I conducted.

Exercise can definitely improve your mood so if you are in grief you

will find it very beneficial.

There are other ways you can help yourself if you are not in the posi-

tion to exercise physically.

Another way to physically assist the grieving process is with gentle

exercise such as Thai Chi, Chi Gung or Yoga. The word Chi means en-

ergy, and the gentle movements associated with these exercises will

teach you breath control and will assist in pushing negative energy

out and bringing positive energy in.

In fact, any movement will help you. A quick walk around the neigh-

borhood will contribute greatly to improving your mood. Just try

and be in the moment when you do, paying attention to the scenery

around you. Staying away from your sadness for even a short while

will surely help you in your grief.

Dancing around the lounge room will definitely be a big help and you

may get to laugh at yourself as well. And we all know laughter is the

best medicine.

A massage on a regular basis will not only give you something to look

forward to but once again the masseuse will be pushing out negative

energy thereby allowing fresh positive energy to move through your

ethereal and physical body.

Last but not lease is acupuncture. This ancient technique will help

remove the blockages in your system that has resulted after the

unacceptable has happened.

So hopefully if you are feeling stuck and weighed down you can take

on one or more of the modalities mentioned. It cannot hurt to do so

at all and you will feel better. I promise.

I recommend meditation of all types because even focusing on

breathing in and breathing out will help expel the negative energy

and inhale positive energy.

There are many different centres such as Vipassana and Zen centers.

I will discuss these in more detail in a future newsletter.

It is very important to address your physical self right now because

if you don’t, it can very well affect you in later years.

You don’t need that. You have suffered enough, and who wants to

be physically affected in later years when we can finally begin travel-

ling and doing the things we richly deserve?

We all know travelling to different places will surely help improve

our outlook on life, not to mention making our spirit world happy as

they see our joy.

So get your body and breath moving because quite simply you de-

serve to be happy and you deserve to be healthy.

Until next time,

Love Charmaine x

Q:Whydon’ttheyspeakdirectlytous?Whyareallmessagessocryptic?

From Tonia Byrnes

Hello Tonia

The reason the spirit world cannot communicate directly with us is simply because of vibrational levels. We all operate on a vibrational level. As humans our vibrations are very slow but spirits vibrations are very fast.

To compare to wings in the bird world, humans would move like pelican wings and spirits like hummingbird wings.

When spirits communicate with us they need to slow down as much as they can but unless our vibrations are as high as we can go then communication audibly will be impossible. If you are always depressed or sad or angry your vibrations will be very low and that is when spirits find it hard to reach us.

Mediums naturally operate on a higher vibration but once again we have to maintain that vibration to be able to hear correctly. You also need to be in the Now time, that is not thinking about the past or future, just being present now. That is why they use the physical world such as numbers, songs, and animals to get our attention because as humans we are rarely in the now moment. They actually do go to a lot of effort.

The other reason is simply because they have transitioned to the other side and part of the human experience is to go through and under-stand grief. If you could simply just chat away to them then they would not be able to evolve to their next level and you would not be able to evolve beyond grief.

We cannot live in this earth suit forever. It is impossible and once we reach the next dimension there is a whole new experience to enjoy. The spirits tend to want to enjoy our experience as well and in my belief they validate they are ok so that so we too can enjoy a full life knowing they are not far. But Earth is a very heavy environment and it seems once they experience the other side they are very happy.

If you wish to raise your vibrations you need to meditate, exercise and do any type of breath work such as yoga or Tai Chi. You need to avoid drugs and alcohol and unhealthy foods. For more assistance on staying in the moment I recommend Ekhart Tolle’s book The Power of Now.

I hope that has helped you understand a little more.

Pedro’s CornerHi my name is Pedro and I am Charmaine’s Sugar Skull.

I travel all over Australia with Charmaine, Pat, Miller (the bulldog) and Stella (the shih tzu).

Charmaine’s son Jack, bought me for Mum on Mothers Day 2012, just before we went on our first tour on the tour bus.

He wanted to make sure someone kept a close eye on Mum, and that is exactly what I do.

Each month I will be telling you how it really is on the road.

Well we all piled into the bus late July ready for tour. Princess Char-maine always gets very nervous when Poor Patrick gets ready to back the bus down the driveway. Admittedly it is daunting, but ,like Poor Patrick, I think Princess Charmaine frets way too much- so much in fact she affects one of the other passengers.

Queen Stella!! She is the reigning member of our family. She is a teeny 6kg Shih Tzu and has an attitude of a Bullmastiff. When the dreaded hour of ‘bus backing ‘ arrives, Princess Char-maine’s hands are in full flow sweat and Queen Stella is shaking like a washing machine off-balance.

Mellow Miller takes it all in his stride, Poor Patrick just does what needs to be done, and then we all begin. I strap myself in to my travelling box, Mellow Miller snores happily under the desk until he is called to depart, and then there are those two. Sigh!

This time Princess Charmaine was out on the road, with sweaty hands, ready to clumsily divert traffic if needed, and the bus began to back down the steep driveway. Magically, a knight in shining armor appeared in the guise of a con-cerned driver who actually went around the roundabout and parked just behind Princess and put on his hazard lights.

Even from my vantage point in my travelling box I could see the grati-tude etched all over Princess Charmaine’s face.

The bus backed out and then, after Poor Patrick loaded the car on the Gypsy trailer, we were ready to drive down the paper barked lined road, this time all the way to Newcastle.

The travelling positions are all very important in the bus. There are 5 seating positions. The driver seat – poor Patrick The passenger seat – princess Charmaine Travelling box – me Small dog bed – Queen Stella Large Dog bed – Mellow miller

That’s how it’s supposed to go anyhow!

Within seconds, Queen Stella has always successfully bossed Mellow Miller out of the more comfortable large Dog bed, and immediately lies on her back, spread eagled and snoring small dog snuffle snores.

Mellow Miller is then left with either the small dog bed or his next favourite position head resting on Princess Charmaine’s knee. This of course sets of large quantities of noise from her highness’ mouth as she complains to Poor Patrick that Mellow Miller is drooling on her pants leg.

Poor Patrick just smiles and nods, and we are off.

Life on the bus is vastly different than life on home. Poor Patrick drives and Princess Charmaine is responsible for picking the right caravan park. When you consider the bus towing the van is a whopping 20 metres long, you can imagine what a hassle it is to not only find the right park, but also to negotiate that beast in the traffic.

Some drivers simply do not ‘see’ such a big machine and then happily race ahead to cut our bus off. The swear words then echo from the front seat, through to me in my travelling box. Not Poor Patrick, but Princess Charmaine.

She does the swearing for him. I am certain Poor Patrick wishes she would just continue to play on Facebook or spider solitaire so he can focus a bit better.

This time, the first stop was a caravan park slightly north of our first venue. When we arrived, the owner turned up in a golf buggy and de-cided to take Poor Patrick and Princess Charmaine on tour of the park.

They arrived back on the bus looking a bit pale and puzzled. I over-heard them talking about all the stuffed animals tied to trees. Appar-ently, all the visitors to the park had contributed their own family toys to be hung from trees after seeing a few the owners had put out.

Later on Mellow Miller and I had a chat about what he had seen on his walk and he told me he personally got a bit freaked out about it all.

I was hoping they would not contribute me to the family toys tied on the trees but Mellow Miller said, “No way Pedro, they loves ya too much!”

Later that afternoon, the golf buggy turned up again to invite Princess and Patrick to a sausage sizzle and music night.

Princess Charmaine was excited to show off her limited skills as a mu-sician, but Poor Patrick, who is a very good musician, did not want to play, saying he thought it best not to override the park musicians.

Off they went to the sausage sizzle leaving the rest of us in the bus sulking. Within a short half hour after listening to the other musicians, they were back to collect their guitars and harmonicas.

I strained my porcelain ears to hear, and laughed and laughed when I could hear the ukulele player cutting Patrick off on every chorus (a bit like the tiny cars on the highway really).

Princess Charmaine delighted in how, every time a park local got close to her or Patrick, they leaned over and whispered “Hurry up and play another song before the ukulele guy cuts in again!”

Apparently a year of listening to Sadie the Cleaning Lady was doing their head in!!

Nonetheless they were happy when they came back, but declined the invitation to come back and play in September for the annual music jamboree the park holds.

They were so inspired by the night, they bought a small drum in Grafton ready for our next trip to the caravan park with the forgotten stuffed toys and the excited Ukulele player.

Guest Interview - Sue Jordan

Sue Jordan makes keepsake and memorial jewellery. She has a passion and a special ability to create divine pieces which honours the recipient’s loved one is a beautifully unique way.Read more about Sue and her journey here.

Tell us about your Sue-Ella Signature Design jewellery

I make one off pieces of memorial or keepsake jewellery. I listen to my cli-ents’ stories and create something for them that is highly personalised.I believe the people who need me, find me, and I get a sense when I speak to them, what would suit what they’re looking for.I don’t think there is such a thing as an odd request. I totally respect how different people wish to honour their loved ones. I guide people with suggestions, and ultimately make sure they are happy with their keepsake. For example, I had a family who had lost a son/brother, and I worked with the whole family on their different ways they wanted to cherish his memory. For the sister it was a picture of him in a mud fight, for Dad it was him in his pyjamas, and for Mum it was him in his school uniform.I also work with people who want to create a story of their loved one in the piece- like different things on a charm bracelet where everything has a unique meaning and brings together the many aspects of the person they’ve lost. And I love making joyful pieces for those who have had a big life in celebration of who that person was.

How did your journey lead you to making the pieces you create?

I always loved keepsakes so I used to make them as a hobby for myself, and for my friends and family.Growing up, I always had treasure boxes, and loved lockets and trinkets that reminded me of special times or people.Word must have spread, and one day I got an email from someone asking if I could make a piece that had a fingerprint of their father in it. At first I thought, I can’t do that. This person was so keen for me to make them something- so I went to the mortuary and took a mould of the fingerprint. It was so peaceful… I now do that a lot- it’s a big part of my work. It is such a beautiful and sacred process to be with someone’s loved one in that moment. And the person I made the first one for was so grateful- she wanted me to have some of his ashes. He now sits on my work bench.

How have you found solace amongst the grief of death?

What I’ve learned from my clients, is a sense of peace when I show them the piece I’ve made for them. I see people change when they get their jewellery.Particularly I see it with parents who have lost children, and have had more since (rainbows they are often called). I see that sometimes families do not feel complete and someone is missing if they travel without my jewellery.I see my jewellery allows those families to bring their deceased loved ones everywhere with them, so they are always there. Even in family pho-tos I know people make sure that the jewellery can be seen in the photos as if the person was there. The jewellery in the photo is that missing loved one.People seem to find peace when they carry a piece of their loved one with them.I also see this with fur babies as well, who are just as much a family member for those people who love them so much.I lost a child early in pregnancy, and it has a big impact on why I do what I do for others. I understand the grief and the peace too.

How did you connect with Charmaine?

I got on to Charmaine after watching The One, and found her on facebook. When I found her page and read her posts, I started following her and her words resonate with me so much.I’ve also been to a lot of her shows and I love them.I love watching other people heal when Charmaine makes the connection for them. I think ultimately, again, it’s the peace in their faces which everyone in the room sees.

What have you learned from Charmaine?

One of the main things I’ve learned is that loved ones on the other side will always follow love. They will always be where there is love and they are always there with us.Charmaine is awesome at acknowledging the signs for people too.I love the description she uses about them looking at you through the glass floor from above. And Charmaine’s message to people when she says don’t stop living, is such a powerful one.I certainly use her wisdom to reassure my clients, and I direct them to Charmaine’s facebook page because she helps so many through their grief process.

Page 6: Charmaine Wilson · 2015. 3. 22. · breathing in and breathing out will help expel the negative energy ... If you wish to raise your vibrations you need to meditate, exercise and

What advice can you share with others who are experiencing grief in their lives?

First and foremost I would say get help if you feel they need it.There are amazing organisations out there, like SIDS (for those who have lost babies or a child up to the age of 6 no matter the cause of death). Also, don’t ever feel like you can’t say your loved ones name out loud again.People grieve in different ways, and go through different stages in the process. There are so many different forms of grief, often depending on cause of death.

What are some of your outlets for grief?

My outlets include talking to people who can relate to the experiences, and I love things like birthday cakes and other celebrations of anniver-saries and special occasions.Certain organisations (again, like SIDS) hold ceremonies so loved ones can be remembered and recognised.I also do a lot of yoga and physical activity. As I deal with a lot of grieving people regularly, I like to use a visualisation during my yoga practice where I see an angel taking my client’s loved one away in a very sacred way.I also write in a gratitude diary every day.

Where is your jewellery available and how can people stay in touch with you?

My facebook page is http://www.facebook.com/pages/Sue-Ella-Signatures-Keepsake-Memorial-Jewellery/131242840263729, and my blog/website is http://sueellasignaturedesigns.blogspot.com.au/.On the facebook page I encourage people to share their experiences, photos and stories. The website is more of a guide to ideas for pieces.I am also really happy to speak to people about what they are thinking and ideas they have around creating a memorial or keepsake treasure to remember their loved one.

Charmaine’s Tattoo Oracle Card Reading for September

1. InnocenceBeginnings

The beginning of any journey starts with little or no knowledge of the path we are about to travel. We are innocent as a newborn baby, relying on the safety net of its parents. Each journey we embark on has to involve a certain amount of faith and trust we will be guided in the cor-rect direction, either instinctively or with the help of others, but either way we must start every journey as a beginner. We can never be entirely certain we are on the correct path however, unless we are prepared to take that risk, we will never grow. Like a tiny baby we stare wide eyed and innocently at the path ahead with optimism and faith the journey will yield wisdom and personal growth. The path will hold challenges and some will feel only a fool rushes in, however without a risk, there can be no gain. This card implies the beginning of something new. It can be a relationship, a career or education. It can also mean a fresh start. If this card appears in the spread with the Goddess card and the Family card it might mean the birth of a baby for your family or a close friend. Embrace this new path and give it everything you have as we do not stay innocent for long. Make this journey count.

News

This month, we are giving away a one-off Sue-Ella Sig-nature Design personalised photo locket and a copy of Charmaine’s CD Heaven’s Gate to the first lucky person who correctly answers the following question:

What TV show did Charmaine win in 2008 to be crowned Australia’s Most Gifted Psychic?

Please email your answer to:[email protected]

(Winner will be notified by email, and your name will feature in our next newsletter)

Music is one of the most common signs from spirit. I believe it is orchestrated in the following ways:

1. You get in your car and for some reason, you decide to turn on the radio. Within a few minutes the song you shared with your loved one comes on.

Conclusion: These days, what is played on the radio is pre-programmed in advance. I feel your loved ones know which radio station you are most likely to tune into and they can see what songs are coming up in your local station. What they do then is whisper into your subcon-scious mind to turn the radio on. You may not normally to that but you find yourself reaching for the switch and then you hear the song.

2.Youfindyourselfinadepartmentstorewhichyouhadnointentionofbeinginandyouarelookingatthingstheymayhavelikedwhenthebackgroundmusicalwaysplayedinshopsonflaresalittleloudlyforamomentanditis‘thesong’.

Conclusion: Once again your spirit people have full awareness of the next song simply by observing the screen on which the music is displayed. They subconsciously coerce you into the shop and make you think of them. Then you find yourself led to some item they would admire and the song comes on. A few tissues later you gather yourself together and leave the shop.

3.Youwakeinthemorningwithasonggoingaroundandaroundinyourhead.Youcanonlyhearthewordsofthechorus.Abitlaterintheday the song seems to ring true as you encounter someone or something that makes you understand the song was in fact a message.

Conclusion: The spirit world loves music and knows you are about to come across a situation that the words of this song will resonate with. They want you to think about the words, which turn out to be the solution so as you sleep they play the song over and over in your subcon-scious mind. The words in the song could also relate to how they understand you miss them or how you feel right now. In a way it is answering you.
