S ome of our lodge mem-

bers made an im-

promptu field trip to

Venice Lodge 301 for

some brotherly fellowship. Im-

agine our surprise when we dis-

covered that our brothers to the

North had in their possession,

“The Traveling Gavel.”

W orshipful Master Sean

Williamson had the

privilege of presenting

Brother Brad Barco,

Past Grand Master of Rhode Island,

with a Honorary Membership. Brother

Barco has been an invaluable asset to

our lodge and we thank him for his

guidance, support and wisdom. We are

very fortunate to have him as an active

member and Brother.

The thirteen brothers from Phoenix Lodge 346 must have been as equally

surprised, but in the spirit of tradition, decided that the gavel should spend

some time at Phoenix Lodge 346. WM John Brandon, his officers and

brethren of Venice Lodge 301 showed amazing hospitality and fellowship.

We all felt truly welcomed and look forward to visiting again.

from the

East,

Things are

moving along with next

few months full of guest

speakers and some im-

made.

Brother Mooney in-

was not able to attend

due to health reasons,

the years first Child ID

event was a success. A

special appreciation

goes out to Jeff Law-

a total of 49 kids in 3

the extra effort.

Thought for the month

strives for it’s perfec-tion.”

William Howard Taft

NOW HIRING PAYING MASTER MASON WAGES Out building is in need of some TLC, the kitchen plumbing is in dire need of repair. This will take a couple of hours and will require 3 workers. You will be paid Masonic wages upon completion of the task. Lunch will be provided. All supplies needed are on hand. Contact John Zimmer, JW at 941-487-0451 to sign up. Remember not only to say the right thing in the right place, but far more dif-ficult still, to leave unsaid the wrong thing at the tempting moment. Bro Benjamin Franklin. Johns Lodge, Philadelphia
