Individual Support CHC33015 CERTIFICATE III INDIVIDUAL SUPPORT Are you looking for career advancement in the Allied Health industry? Are you looking to work in areas such as Aged Care, Disability Support or Community Support? The College RTO in partnership with Academic Pathways Programs at The College is offering a unique opportunity for students enrolled in the Foundation Nursing Program and the Diploma of Health Sciences, to also complete a Certificate III in Individual Support. This is a valuable qualification and specifically allows individuals to be employed in the Allied Health Industry in the areas of Disability, Aged Care or Community Support. This is the minimum entry qualification to enter the Allied Health Industry and students will be able to use the Certificate III in Individual Support to find employment in this industry, while completing their Diploma or Degree. OUR COURSE The course content has been integrated into the Foundation of Nursing and the Diploma of Health Sciences program, so to complete this course you will need to attend some additional mentoring and support sessions, and undertake assessments through the RTO. The Certificate III in Individual Support reflects the role of workers in the community and/or residential setting, who provide assistance to people requiring support due to ageing, disability or community need. To achieve this qualification, students need to complete assessments for the core units listed below, plus additional electives based on your preference to study aged care, disability support, or community support. Your are also required to undertake a minimum of 120 hours of industry work placement. CHC33015 Certificate III in Individual Support: Core Units

DURATION Program workshops and assessments are held over the Term Break (3-4 weeks) at Nirimba campus. All assessment materials are provided to students via the RTO’s online LMS. Students undertake 16-18 days in Work Placement to meet their minimum 120 hours industry work requirements to complete this qualification.
