WE PROVIDE A FOUNDATION FOR HUMAN POTENTIALEveryone has potential. Everyone has a purpose. CHDA believes stable affordable housing provides an important foundation for the economic and social well-being of individuals, families and the communities in which they live.

CHDA creates quality affordable housing opportunities for all kinds of people to live well, with dignity. A home they can afford. Access to support services and resources.

A launch pad for human potential. A foundation for fulfilling purpose. That’s what we’re about.

CHDA communities not only help people of limited financial means, but are also self-sustaining, economically viable business investments that make sound fiscal sense.

We create unique partnerships, bringing together financial institutions, investors, public and private funders, elected officials, landowners, developers and private citizens to build thriving communities.

Thriving communities are relevant and innovative. They respond to real needs. CHDA brings experience, innovation, and strong business leadership in response to local housing demand and the needs of residents.

THRIVING COMMUNITIES...

RESOURCES, RESPECT AND DIGNITY.

Fact is, despite popular misconceptions, “affordable” housing supports a diverse array of people in a wide range of circumstances.

Many people who live in affordable housing properties simply have limited resources and cannot afford to live in market rate housing. Many also wrestle with significant life challenges.

We believe that everyone deserves the opportunity to live in safe, quality housing, as well as to be treated with dignity. This is a cornerstone of our organization.

No matter the circumstance, CHDA communities provide quality, affordable housing solutions that support residents’ dignity.

CHDA builds sustainable infrastructure to support communities where everyday people can launch dreams to change their world and ours.

CHDA IS ABOUT MORE THAN HOUSING.WE’RE ABOUT HUMAN INFRASTRUCTURE.

WE BELIEVE A SAFE, AFFORDABLE HOMEIS THE SPRINGBOARD FOR ACHIEVEMENT.

CHDA IS ALL GROWN UP AT 20

20 years ago, we started with a simple idea: Stable, affordable service-supported housing for people of modest means builds strong, sustainable communities. This includes those with special needs. We’re a seasoned team now.

Our belief in empowering communities and resolve to do so has not wavered.

And it never will.

In Brazilian novelist Paulo Coelho’s world-wide bestseller, The Alchemist, wise King Melchizedek told the wandering Santiago, “when you want something, all the universe conspires in helping you to achieve it.” Fulfilling your purpose starts with believing you can achieve it.

CHDA fosters that belief.

FIRST BELIEVE, THEN RECEIVE
