• Born-again people of God are described by the Lord Jesus using many different symbols and settings BUT they are all the same group of people because there is only one flock.

Christian who “falls away” was not truly saved in the first place.• Such teaching is obviously inconsistent

There Are Two Groups

• This is a warning Galatians 5:21 Envyings, murders, drunkenness, revellings, and such like: of the which I tell you before, as I have also told you in time past, that they which do such things shall not inherit the kingdom of God.

• The Ultra grace movement have a former pseudo-Calvinism and they basically teach that when a person is saved he receives eternal life and even if he is unfaithful he cannot lose his eternal life.

• 1 John 5:12 He that hath the Son hath life; and he that hath not the Son of God hath not life.

• Eternal life is not like a Christmas gift that God gives to a believer at conversion to do with as they please.

• The right to possession of eternal life is conditional to following and fellowship with the Son of God

• John 6:53 Then Jesus said unto them, Verily, verily, I say unto you, Except ye eat the flesh of the Son of man, and drink his blood, ye have no life in you.

Eternal Life Is Not a Privately Owned Possession

• Jesus promised eternal life to those who are converted and follow him
