Engineered for Demanding Applications CHEMFILM ® ETFE-E4 and LM Fluoropolymer Film High- Yield Fluoropolymer Film CHEMFILM ® ETFE fluoropolymer film is manufactured from a copolymer of ethylene and tetrafluoroethylene resin. This material offers the outstanding performance of fluoropolymer film over a temperature range from cryogenic to 330°F (165°C). Its resistance to chemicals and weathering, low flammability, and stress crack resistance make this film an excellent candidate for a wide variety of applications. ETFE-E4 and LM ETFE-E4 and LM fluoropolymer films are manufactured from specialty grades of ethylene and tetrafluoroethylene copolymers. These grades are designed to be highly extensible and formable at all manufacturing temperatures when compared to ETFE-E2 film. ETFE-E4 ETFE-E4 film covers the same operating temperature, from -200°C (-328°F) to 165°C (330°F), as ETFE-E2 film. Its elongation characteristics are superior throughout this temperature range, which makes it an ideal candidate for thermoforming to more complex shapes without sacrificing other mechanical and thermal performance characteristics. ETFE-LM ETFE-LM film is formulated from a low melting specialty ETFE resin. This allows ETFE-LM to achieve the highest elongation characteristics and lowest force requirements when thermoformed up to 125°C (257°F). ETFE-LM is the perfect choice for deep draws up to and greater than 10:1 ratios, such as complex medical container laminates and liners. Advantages Superior release properties Excellent weatherability ETFE-E4 Performance from - 200°C (-328°F) to 165°C (330°F) ETFE-LM Performance from - 200°C (-328°F) to 125°C (3°F) Excellent chemical and mechanical properties Thermoformable Product thickness from 0.0005 in. (12.7 µm) to 0.006 in. (0.254 µm) Width up to 1,524 mm (60") Available in cementable (surface treated) form
