Direct Palladium-Catalyzed Arylations of Aryl Bromides with 2/9-Substituted Py-rimido[5,4-b]indolizines. — The title reaction is sensitive to electronic effects. With the exception of 2-pyridinyl and 4-nitrophenyl, aryl bromides with electron-withdraw-ing substituents gave higher yields than those with electron-donating ones.
