08 - 284Synthesis of Monodisperse Nanoparticles of Barium Titanate: To-ward a Generalized Strategy of Oxide Nanoparticle Synthesis. —Monodisperse nanoparticles of BaTiO3 with diameters ranging from 6 to 12 nmare synthesized from BaTi(OOCC7H15)(OiPr)5 by a combined injection–hydrolysis method (injection of the precursor into a mixture of diphenyl etherand oleic acid as stabilizing agent at 140 ◦C, followed by hydrolysis usinga 30 wt.% H2O2 solution). The samples are characterized by TEM andXRD.
