■ CHESTERFIELD BAPTIST ASSOCIATION NEWS Volunteers are needed for the Men's Fall mission trip to the Joy Ranch Chil-dren's Home in Hillsville, Virginia Wednesday, October 2 through Saturday, October 5. Call the Associational Office in Ruby to sign up (843-634-6338).

■ LEND A HELPING HAND We’ll be having two workdays to help Norma Moore get moved into her new residence (call the office for directions). We’re asking ladies (and men) to come help this Saturday September 14 with general cleanup (washing down kitchen cabinets and installing shelf liners, and washing walls and windows in prepara-tion for painting). We’ll also finalize some sheetrock repair that day.
Then on Saturday, September 21, we’re asking men (and ladies) to come help paint the entire inside of the house. If anyone is available any weekday during that time period to help with these projects, please let Susan Howiler (843-921-8817) or Steve Howiler (843-910-7016) know.
Your help in this project would be greatly appreciated. Also, if anyone has ex-perience in staining and putting polyurethane on hardwood floors and would like to help with that the week of September 23, please let Steve know.
