DIRECTIONS

Lowesmoor Farm is situated in open countryside, approximately midway between the towns of Cirencester (7 miles) and Tetbury (6 Miles) in Gloucestershire. If approaching from Cirencester, take the A419 Stroud road in a westerly direction. After about 5 miles turn left, signposted for Cherington. At the next crossroads, go straight over and the sale field will be found signposted.

From Tetbury, take the A433 Cirencester road in a north easterly direction. On leaving the town, take the first turning left at the cross roads, signposted for Cherington. Continue through Cherington and on leaving the village, take the turning on the left signposted to Sapperton and Cirencester. Follow this road for a further 1½ miles to the sale field.

INTRODUCTION TO SALE

The sale is being conducted on behalf of Messrs A & M Clark trading as Lowesmoor Farms Limited following the sale of Lowesmoor Farm in 2019. The Clark Family had farmed at Lowesmoor Farm since 1959. The sale includes virtually all of the arable farming equipment off about 800 acres. The main enterprises on the farm have been arable production and the breeding of pedigree Hereford cattle. Some of the livestock equipment has been retained.

SALE NOTES

This catalogue replaces and takes precedent over all previous advertising and catalogues.

Conditions: The sale will be conducted subject to the CAAV Model Machinery Conditions of Sale and our Online Conditions of Sale which are shown in full on our website and will be available at the sale office. All prospective buyers should ensure that they have read and understood those Conditions. The act of bidding will be taken as acceptance of them.

Payment: All lots become the sole risk of the buyer at the fall of the hammer. The property in a lot purchased shall not pass to the buyer or be removed from the sale field until payment has been made for the full purchase price to the Auctioneers. Invoices will be circulated within 24 hours of the closing of the sale. Payments can be made using Bank Transfer, cheques or Debit Cards. All lots must be paid for within 5 days of the end of the sale. Buyers unknown to the Auctioneers wishing to pay by cheque must supply a written bank reference for a sum equal to or in excess of the total invoice. The reference must specify the sale date and the amount up to which their cheque will be honoured. The Auctioneers will be unable to accept cash or credit cards for this sale.

VAT: All lots will be sold subject to VAT unless announced at the time of sale.

Removal: Purchases must be removed by prior arrangement with the Auctioneers on Thursday 25th and Friday 26th June, 2020. A loading vehicle will be available to assist.

BUYER’S PREMIUM: All purchases will be subject to Buyer’s Premium at a rate of 2.5% per lot plus VAT, subject to a minimum charge of £2.50 plus VAT per lot.
