race numberThis should be firmly attached to the FRONT of your running vest with FOUR safety pins. You must display your allocated number throughout the race, or risk disqualification. Please indicate contact details for next of kin and any relevant medical information on the reverse of the race number. Feel free to put your name on your running vest above your number, so the crowds can cheer you on!

on arrival•The race starts and finishes at the western entrance of the Chichester

College car park•There is free parking at the College car park, adjacent to the Race

Village and additional parking at both the Avenue De Chartres car park (£1) and West Sussex County Council Records Office (free), off Orchard Street

•Bicycles can be left at the front of the Chichester College sports hall (bring your own lock)

•There are toilets and changing facilities in the College Sports hall, and there will be port-a-loos at the Race Village

•Free baggage storage is available at the New College Building G block•Registration is automatic via your timing chip. However, if any of your

details have changed or you have queries on the day there will be an Information Point in the Race Village at the Race Start

•Spectators are encouraged to support all our runners. Suggested viewing points are:

- Oaklands Park Rugby Club at 1.5 miles - car parking, toilets and play-park.

- The top of the Trundle is at 5.5 miles with great scenic views of the Downs, Chichester Cathedral and on a clear day the Isle of Wight. You are advised to park at the Triangle car park by Goodwood Racecourse and walk up the Trundle where you will be able to see the runners. Should you fancy a coffee, stroll down to Seven Ways.

- Hunters Race off Centurion Way at 11 miles - display of local children’s artwork

- The finish line! Full facilities of the Race Village and a great way to welcome runners back.

• Runners should assemble in the Race Village behind their respective time boards (based on estimated finishing times)• Fitjoy will lead a warm-up session at 8.20 am• The route is multi terrain, with mile markers, 5 water stations and

marshals at all key junctions: FOR YOUR OWN SAFETY you must comply with instructions given by the police and race officials/marshals•When running on the highway, keep close to the curb on the left hand

side of the road. Do not cut corners and do exercise caution when passing parked vehicles• There will be First Aid support at strategic points on the course • Race officials will remain at the finish until the last runner has

completed the course or 12.30 noon, whichever is earlier. There will be a sweeper bike in operation around the course.

and goody bag•There will be a final water station at the

finish line•Runners will have the opportunity to check

their time, get a free massage and take advantage of the retail and catering stalls available in the Race Village

•Results will be available at the finish; just type your race number at the Split Second tent to see it on the big screen. They will also be posted on the Chi half and Chichester District Council websites by early evening

•Action photos from the race will be available from Sussex Sport Photography within 48hrs at http://bit.ly/Chichester-Half-2013-Photo-Gallery. This is a professional company and participants should be aware that their image may be recorded. Anyone not wanting their photo put on the website or used in publicity should make us aware.

•Westgate Leisure are offering runners a free swim on the day of the race on presentation of your race number.

prizesFirst 3 men, first 3 women, 1st 3 men over 40, 1st 3 women over 40, 1st man over 50, 1st woman over 50, 1st and 2nd male team (3 to score), 1st and 2nd female team (3 to score). Top 3 male and female seniors will be presented on the day (M:10.30am, F:10.45am) other prizes will be posted within one week.
