1/CRIS/Proj-IV/ AMC/Claims Phase-I/2007/Part-11 Date -12.01.2012 Chief Claims Officers All Indian Railways Sub: AMC of hardware and networking equipments of Web enabled Claims Project Ref: Railway Board letter no. 2005/TC-1II/38/1 dated 10.02.2011 (copy enclosed) With reference to Railway Board letter cited above, in which Board had sanctioned the work of AMC of hardware and networking equipments installed at all locations of Web enabled Claims Phase-I and Phase-II project for the period of 03 year. CRIS has awarded the work to M/s 3i InfoTech Ltd, Noida for AMC of hardware and networking equipments at all locations of Web enabled Claims Phase-I and Phase-II Project for a period of three year on 09.12.2011. The vendor has already started survey of the current status of hardware and networking equipments at all locations for maintenance purpose. A helpdesk is being set up at CRIS for logging complaints to resolve the hardware and networking equipment related issues. One telephone number will be provided for logging complaints for failure of hardware and networking equipments very shortly. The contact details of the service centre nearest to your office will also be uploaded on the claims website very shortly. For network connectivity related issue, your attention is also invited to CRIS letter no.' 3/CRIS/Proj-IV/HW/Claims Phase-1/2007 dated 07.02.2011 and 20.07.2011, CRIS has set up a Communication Network Group at CRIS, New Delhi which primarily works to monitor network connectivity on daily basis of the various projects implemented by CRIS at all zonal offices of Indian Railways. In case of network connectivity related issues, you may communicate your support request to the Network Operation Centre (NOC) directly which is manned by Network Engineers of CRIS and operates on 24x7x365 basis. For more details regarding phone no., Railway no., email id of the NOC, please login to www.claims.indianrail.gov.in. The payment to the vendor is to be done on quarterly basis on submission of preventive maintenance report duly signed by respective location in-charge. In case of any issue/feedback/complaint against the vendor, please write in the quarterly PM report instead of refusing to sign the report. On the basis of your feedback mentioned in the quarterly report, CRIS will take action against the vendor. In case of non-signing of quarterly PM report by location in-charge, the AMC work will be stopped by vendor for next quarter.

With reference to Railway Board letter cited above, in which Board had sanctioned thework of AMC of hardware and networking equipments installed at all locations of Web enabledClaims Phase-I and Phase-II project for the period of 03 year.

CRIS has awarded the work to M/s 3i InfoTech Ltd, Noida for AMC of hardware andnetworking equipments at all locations of Web enabled Claims Phase-I and Phase-II Project fora period of three year on 09.12.2011. The vendor has already started survey of the currentstatus of hardware and networking equipments at all locations for maintenance purpose.

The proposal for above mentioned provisions amounting to Rs. 548.02 Lakh

2. Accordingly, sanction of the Ministry of Railways is hereby communicated forAnnual Maintenance Contract (AMC) of hardware, software and networkingequipments used in Web enabled Claims Phase-I and Phase-II at a total cost ofRs.211.12 Lac (Rupees Two Crore Eleven Lakh Twelve Thousand only) for a periodof 3 years.

3. Northern Railway is nodal Railway for releasing the payment. Paymentreleasing nodal Railway will subsequently make adjustments. with other zonalRailways on behalf of whom releasing the payments to CRIS. The schedule of thepayment will be as under -

(i) 30% of the sanctioned amount immediately on receipt of this letter.(ii) 50% of the sanctioned amount on issue of Purchase Order by CRIS.(iii) 15% of the value of Purchase order releasedj contracts awarded on

supply, installation and commissioning of hardware and software.(iv) Balance 5% on successful completion of AMC as certified by
