Developments committments

Hilfswerke Austria committed 100 TS, start in January

Alfullah Bank planning to fund 100 TS, reviewing technical designs, contacting agencies

Al Ameen trust added 100 TS to the committed 130 TS.

Don Basco Church confirmed construction of 35 TSQatar Charity confirmed construction of 100 TS

instead of 50 TSIslamic Relief found funding for additional 128 TSCalculation mistake: Jamaad Ud Dawa 650 double

in sheet + 300 shelter material + NFI’s luted. 1.000 pipeline unsure.

Progress - developments

Eid holiday: difficult to mobilize community, drivers and carpenters. Also the days after Eid

Strikes in Kach and Amadoon, blocked the road for traffic for 3 days, delays distribution.

Teachers are on the ground and instructed for Community Mobilization

Food Package (32 kg) incentives when shelter finished. Food is in the field, distribution / timing to be arranged

ESC permanent field coordinator in Ziarat Aftershock of 5.7 (Richter scale) on Tuesday 10.30 am

possible additional damage, impact on the community. First snow fell in the area. PRCS / IFRC prepares for distribution, material for 1.000

kits arrived in the field, start 15-12 till 31-12. Turkish RC erected 90% of shelters, water supply pending.

Community Participation

Community participation important for dealing with psychological aspects of the disaster and building resilience for the future

Not all beneficiaries are erecting the shelters since they are migrating or choosing different solutions

Limited capacity for monitoring / motivating the communities to erect shelter when distributions are ongoing.

Participation of the local government leaders is crucial
