Baby Doll Circle TimeProject Application
The WNY Infant Toddler Resource Network, in partnership with the following agencies, is recruiting programs that would like to participate in a social-emotional skill building opportunity. Brain development research tells us that infants and toddlers learn best when they have strong positive relationships with their caregivers. This ultimately decreases the challenging behaviors we see in children as well.
What is Baby Doll Circle Time?
Baby Doll Circle Time is an infant/toddler curriculum developed by Dr. Becky Bailey (Conscious Discipline) that helps provide necessary connections for every child without increasing staff time or staff numbers.
Baby Doll Circle Time allows the caregiver to lead young children and their baby dolls in fun, engaging activities that promote the secure attachment, increased attunement, and social play that is vital to children’s lifelong success.
Baby Doll Circle Time aims to increase the quality and quantity of one-on-one interactions between caregivers and children, regardless of ratio, group size, or other challenges.
This is an opportunity to have our Infant Toddler Specialist:
Carry out Baby Doll Circle Time with an infant or toddler classroom in your center or with your home based program
Provide tools and resources to increase social-emotional wellness and decrease challenging behaviors
Provide on-site coaching to build on existing strengths in the program that can promote positive social skills
