  • Considerations Purpose and Format Before integrating data... Whats the purpose of the data? What question are you trying to inform? Is it related to childhood obesity? Is the data in an acceptable format?

  • Considerations - Privacy NO personally identifiable information in to COGIS. Users should review all data prior to uploading and remove any inappropriate data from the raw dataset.   • YouAdd Tool Points, Lines, Polygons The YouAdd tool is interactive and very good for quickly adding grassroots place based knowledge to COGIS. Use the Google Map interface to draw on the map and save point, line or polygon data. This tool is best for adding relatively small data sets or for data that will be added to COGIS over time.
