FORTY children from Rumah Titian Kaseh were treated to a sumptuous "Sajian Kampung'' buka puasa buffet at The Federal Kuala Lumpur recently.
The children enjoyed more than 100 dishes ranging from authentic kampung delicacies and traditional delights to a variety oflocal and continental savouries at the Kontiki Restaurant.
The buffet also highlighted delectable dishes from the Favourite Dishes From The Tunku's Kitchen cookbook, such as roast lamb with bukhari rice, roast beef with black pepper sauce and fried chicken wings.
To end things on a sweet note, the clilldren savoured signature desserts such as dotlol kampong, wajik kampong, bubur b'uah, bread and butter pudding and a selection of mixed Nyonya kuih.

Regional Sales and Business Development marketing director Ooi Lee Ping said there was no greater joy than seeing the children's smiles.
''Ramadan is a time for tradition, a time of sharing and giving. We are more than happy to share this meaningful buka puasa with the children.
"Meeting the children and getting to know them was rewarding, and we wanted them to know that we care and remember them this special festive seascm," Ooi aclded.
To kick things up a notch, The Federal Kuala Lumpur also invited local artistes and bands such as Ronnie Hussein, 6ixth Sense Band

At the end of the event, the children also received Raya hampers, duit raya and goodie bags from the hotel management team.
The Sajian Kampung buffet dinner is available from 6.30pm to 9.30pm at RM118 net per adult, RM38 nett per child and 50% off for senior citizens until July 2.
