August 2021 Calendar of Events for Children Teens amp Families
The Library is open with computers seating and study rooms available TheTrove no longer requires appointments and The Edge is open with computersfor teens Our services will continue to expand in the coming months and fornow our programs will continue online through at least 2021 with a fewexceptions this summer Summer Reading at the Library runs through FridayAugust 20 Due to the impact of COVID-19 on services Summer Reading iscompletely online this year via the READsquared platform website or app(available for iOS and Android) Some highlights this month include a ShadowPuppetry Workshop with Firelight Shadow Theater (811) a live concert withWill Parker on the Library Plaza (818) and our Ready for Kindergarten Grab ampGo Kits (available starting 830) Find a full listing of events below with detailson attending And if youd like to hear more from me about our programs andservices for youth be sure to sign up for Whats the Story here
