The space includes one small table and is in close proximity to the basement stairs. A new children’s literacy room will be created in the space previously provided for magazines. The children’s area will include child-height stacks, a literacy playground, soft seating and tables. The area will have direct proximity to the Universal Toilet Room and meet City ACCESS design requirements. An area for stroller parking will be available just outside of the room. Children’s computers will be provided in direct line-of-sight from the room and be located in front of the elevator in the corner area.
