Children BooksEach book is there to entertain the audience Its Mine – Rod Campbell 20 pages
The style of the book is square and on each page is provides images and pictures together. I think this is good idea to do this, as it is a simple format and the text links to everything that’s on the pages so, it doesn’t create confusion for them. Another thing because on each page there are different animals suggest that they are hoping someone’s favorite animal will be in here and this will bring in a bigger target audience for them.
Types of colour’s that are being provided in this book are high key lighting and warm/cool colour’s. Doing this creates a positive outlook of the book.Green is being used and the connotation of this is fresh, environmental and safety.
The text for the book is big and bold to make it clear for a young audience and makes it look like you haven’t got a lot to read. They used a professional font and colour so it’s not hard to understand. I would say 90% of the page is image and 10% is text
The selfish Crocodile- Faustin Charles and Michael TerryRectangle book24 Pages
When opening the book you expect that to be the first page where the story starts but, it provides you with pictures to look at, this will intrigue the reader and make’s them question if these are the types of animals that are going to be in this book. Each page has been constructed to where everything is going to placed and where the text will be as well. For instance on most pages the sky has been left clear and added text.
The pages are filled with colours and charters there is no white space. They have done this so the reader is locked in with the range of things that is happening on that page.
Text is simples and clear for them.
We’re Going On a Bear Hunt – Michael Rosen and Helen Oxenbury 34 pages
Each of the pages re combined together, so it’s a bigger picture for them, but there is a change at the end of the book because it starts to provided a range of different images separated from each other. I would say that they book as been drawn/pained and creates a washed outlook. This could illustrate that may be water will be involved in there adventure.

Some of the pages are coloured and some are black and white; the writer may of wanted this to show the switch on the characters mood or may be its meant to represent what the weather is like.
The writer uses short and simple sentences for his audience.
