Prayers Nelda Owens will have surgery August 24 to remove a kidney due to cancer. Nikki Stroud, daughter in law of Kaye and Steve Stroud, is now on bedrest until the birth of her and Nathan’s baby. Richard Rogers is in room 975 at JMCGH. Charlotte Holden’s brother, Tommy DeLoach, has some health problems. Our Shepherds and search committee as they search for a minister for Skyline. Continue to keep the Maners family in your prayers as they mourn the loss of Traci. Remember those parents and young adults who will be attending college for the first time or returning to college.

Birth Choice Total! Each spring Skyline participates in the ‘Change for Life’ Baby Bottle Campaign. This year Skyline raised $645.46 through donations for Birth Choice. The grand total raised was $43,626.02. To find out more about Birth Choice go to yourprivatechoice.com.

After-School Mentors Needed! The 2017-2018 After-School Mentoring program begins Sept. 7. Mentoring meets every Monday and Thursday from 4 pm to 6 pm in the CAC. Pack The ‘Bus Bank’ for RIFA!

RIFA has asked for Skyline’s help this year with their Snack Backpack program. You can help by picking up a ‘bus bank’ from the box in the lobby, filling it with money and bringing it back full to church on Sept. 10. (If you pick up a bank, please place your name on the list provided.) RIFA’s Snack Backpack program provides kid-friendly, easy-to-prepare food to school children every weekend who have little or no food at home.
