After rice farming her aunt and her uncle grow sugar cane on the land of their relatives
and they also work as casual workers in the village just to earn money to pay for the
household expenditure. Her aunt gets sick with diabetic, Cholesterol, gets pain on her
legs and hands and she could not work hard. The income then come from her uncle
only, he is a farmer and he grows sugar cane. Her aunt and her uncle look after their
niece and nephew they are 2 years old and 1 year and two months old.
Her aunt’s son is employed to work at a rickshaw company, he sends money home to
buy powdered milk and food for his daughter and his wife does not go to work she has
to look after her children at home. Her aunt’s youngest daughter completed
Bachelor’s Degree at Rajabhat Universityand she is looking for job.

at a factory in Rayong province and she sometimes sends money home. Her uncle
presently studies in the second year of high school at Rajprachanukroh School 14 and
he goes to work by mini bus that costs 250 baht a month. Tunya has one younger
brother he is 6 years old and he is kindergarten education.

as casual workers around the village. They sometimes hunt for food for their family to
eat. They cannot support their family or their daughter. They all are taken care of by
Suwanan’s aunt. Suwanan’s aunt is a farmer but she has only three rais of rice field to
farm on for the family’s consumption throughout the year.
After rice farming, her aunt and uncle work at a construction site in the town of
Nongkhai, for which each of them receive 300 Baht a day. Suwanan’s cousin (her
aunt’s daughter) presently studies in the 5th year of Bachelor’s Degree at Rajabhat
University in Udonthani for which Suwanan’s aunt has to send money once a month.
He lives at a dormitory and comes to help her mother work on weekends. Suwanan
has one younger sister that her aunt has taken to raise in Bangkok.

HIV/Aids and she receives 700 baht a week. Her mother grow home grown vegetables
at home such as onion, garlic and vegetables as a supplementary income. Panumas’s
step older brother goes to work far from home and he sends some money home
because he has to save for his living. Panumas and her step father did not infected
with HIV/Aids, they are in good health.

greeting cards for 700 baht a week. Her older brother who got an accident and became
a disabled people died in August 2014, her mother has to work harder because she has
to take responsibility to the household expenditure alone. She has to pay monthly
installment for a motorcycle of Piyaporn’s older brother 2,000 baht a month. They are
in difficult situation and their income is not enough to pay for daily expenditure and
they have to buy rice for their family’s consumption.
