… I want to tag information, search (not navigate) for children’s records, I want to see a timeline of their history (like Facebook), get access to a stream of relevant information (like twitter) and be able to view it anywhere on any device

… at WAM we typically see a summary of a child’s history in terms of all the helpline reports we’re received there is rarely information about what we did, there is nothing about what the outcome was, or the child’s wellbeing … intervention decisions need to be based on a genuine narrative about a child

ChildStory The ideas

From the ICT Event in October:

•  More than 220 User Stories (including issues, opportunities and case for change …) 21 priority ideas, a number of which were prototyped on the day!

•  8 prioritised for immediate District-based prototyping. Released to market, vendors engaged, matched to districts

Today:

•  Review the concepts as designed. Ask questions / challenge!

5. How to stay involved? Where can I get more information?

Specific Workshops and Work shadowing Diary Study

•  The diary Study helps us to understand FACS workers needs, pain-points and how IT systems can empower staff to better support children, young people and families.!

•  As we can’t speak to everybody, this study provides a valuable way for us to hear the view of a wide range of FACS staff.!

•  It’s really easy to do and doesn’t won’t take too much time. !
