The invention discloses Chinese medicinal decoction for treating facial neuritis and belongs
to the field of Chinese medicines. The Chinese medicinal decoction is characterized by
preparing from the following raw material medicines by weight: 6 to 19 grams of rhizoma
typhonii, 5 to 20 grams of Buthus martensi Karsch, 10 to 22 grams of Arisaema
consanguineum Schott, 10 to 22 grams of Ledebouriella seseloides Wolff., 10 to 25 grams
of Schizonepeta, 3 to 16 grams of as arum, 15 to 28 grams of uncaria, 10 to 25 grams of
caltrop and 12 to 25 grams of large-leaved gentian. The decoction is prepared by the
following steps: removing impurities from the raw material medicines; mixing the raw
material medicines, placing in a container, adding 500 milliliters of water for soaking,
decocting till boiling over a big fire, decocting over a slow fire for half hour and filtering out
the decoction; adding a proper amount of water into medicine slag, decocting for half hour,
and filtering out decoction; and mixing the decoction obtained at two times, wherein the
decoction is preferably 250 milliliters and is taken once each night. The decoction diffuses
superficial pathogens, expelling wind and dampness and promoting circulation in main and
collateral channels mainly by expelling wind and cold, relaxing the muscles and stimulating
the blood circulation. The clinic effect is obvious. The decoction is used for treating more
than one hundred patients.; The effective rate of the decoction reaches 87 percent. Thedecoction has the advantages of low treatment cost, short treatment time, quick treatment
effect and the like.
