All student in Chinese National School is
compulsory to learn 3 languages which is
Chinese, English and Malay.
At the Senior Middle level, students are
categorize into Science, Arts, Commerce and Vocational streamed.
The Chinese National School Working
Committee compiles and prepares standardized
textbooks for the use of students at both Junior
and Senior level.

Technical and Vocational Education
A Technical and Vocational Education Department was set up in 1987 to promote technical and vocational education in Chinese National School
Out of 60 Chinese National School, 23 of them are conducting different technical and vocational courses according to the prevailing conditions.
Students in the Technical and Vocational stream sit for the Vocational Unified Examination which was first held in 1993.
