In the new Chivasso Collection 2021 #SENSES we focus on the feel of the fabrics and wallcoverings, as we believe that good design should not only be visually appealing but

should also offer a sensory experience.

One of the most important senses, and one that is often neglected, is tactility, the surface sensitivity of the skin that characterises touch and sensation. This is a sense that

is always working and never wanes – we cannot switch off touch.Texture is therefore key to successful interior designs. The design options are boundless and as individual as you could wish. In our digitalised and technological society our homes should be cosy, comfortable places. Tactile and soft weaves have a

large role to play here, while structured surfaces create a sensuous feel.In the 2021 season, the limelight continues to be on colour palettes inspired by nature, both in the world of fashion and in interior design, as such shades satisfy our wish for harmonious ambiences. They are wonderfully complemented by organic, rounded

upholstered furniture. Thanks to the current retro trend, the ‘70s vibe and the move towards increased

sustainability, the earthy tone brown is gaining importance in a range of variations.Muted ocean tones, aqua and deep blue, radiant mint and green shades like neo mint and lagoon accentuate the cool colour range and are the key colours of the 2021 season. Self-confident statement colours like bold coral, fashionable fraise and frosty

lavender provide exciting highlights in the warm colour spectrum.
